Advantages: Even tones skin, lightweight, can be worn alone or with your normal makeup, nicely fragranced

Disadvantages: do not cover

Ever wondered how do the supermodels get their perfect skin tone and want to make your skin glow as what u have seen on TV? Here is what you exactly need – The Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector from Estée Launder.

An uneven-tone is one of the loads of problems I’ve got on my skin. I’ve tried so many whitening/brightening products from famous brands, but no one seems have really made efforts on me. I feel worse every time I saw the supermodels’ faces glowing under the spotlight in Tele. Until, I came across to this amazing product – Spotlight Skin Tone Perfector! It makes me feel that I have found my own spotlight!

This sheer lotion is very nicely fragranced(as Estée Lauder always does) and more importantly, it’s very lightweight. I have oily T-zone and very spot-active skin, thus I can’t bear products with any tend to greasy. I always try to avoid as many as possible layers underneath my foundation. But this one, is the only one I really feel free to apply before I put my coverage on. It didn’t make me feel any extra burden on my skin. Sometimes I can’t even remember if I have put it on!!!

Secondly, as it’s described as an “amazing visual skincare” by Lauder, you can see the healthier ever-tone glowing on your face as soon as you put it on. If u apply it with your fingertips, u may also feel interesting to see the colourful glow it made on your fingertips. Incredible, ain’it?
After a further study on its integrals, I know that thanks to the illuminating micro-prisms it contains which reflects the light away from minor imperfections and therefore gives skin the instant under-glow and even tone.

But after all, it’s classified as a skin care product, it does do anything about coverage. You might be able to wear it barely only if you have perfect but not even-tone enough skin.

Postscript: It’s suggested to be used AM and PM over your no
urisher to fade dscolourations and sunspots for optimal long-term results. But for me, I don’t really think that should be use other than a makeup product. Maybe just because I am allergic to all little grains (still remember the “micro-prisms” which gives the perfect result?) which I think might cause spots by some chances. Furthermore, I don’t really believe it can do good to my indeed discolouration while other custom-designed-for-skintone-products made no significant effect on me.

I do like this product as well although I would consider it more of a luxury item than an essential cosmetic.

A bit pricey for what it is.

Agree with cammij though ;-)
