I bought this hard drive to back up a large number of music files. I now use it for more things as well as it is so easy to use. It is very easy to connect to the computer - it doesn't need any software installed and just shows up as an extra drive letter. The best bit is the one touch button. It means that I have set the drive to back up all of my important files by just pushing one button on the front of the unit (you need to install the software provided for this bit).
