Advantages: Easy to set up, quick and solidly made.
Disadvantages: None
Up until purchasing this 1TB expansion drive, I had been using a 320gb Maxtor external hard drive. Just from opening the box you can tell that this is a quality bit of kit. Containing the drive itself and one usb 3.0 wire, it is eaxtremely easy to set up, and it will self install as soon as it is connected to your computer or laptop.
Simply copy/cut and pasting, or even dragging and dropping files, backing up of your data is quick and simple.
Although you can occasionaly hear it working away, it is very quiet considering how fast it processes information.
Actual true storage is nearer 930bg rather than the stated 1TB, however this is still plenty of room and should keep all your information safe.
Once you are finished working with your drive, select 'safely remove storage device' from your start menu and disconnect. It's a simple as that. Childsplay!
Summary: Well worth the money for this drive. Easy to set up and use. Just drag and drop files around drives.
