I bought this drive around 6 months ago.

Since then, the device has come in handy on hundreds of occasions. From re-installing my operating system to transferring files from computer to computer, everyone needs an external hard drive. When I saw this Seagate 500GB one on Amazon for just £34.99, I simply could not help but purchase it (timing was fortunate, as this was just before the price of all hard drives skyrocketed).

Installation is easy, it is quite literally plug and play and is powered by a single USB to mini USB cable. It could not be simpler. It is also very durable, as there are no noticeable blemishes or marks, and it works perfectly, despite being dropped from medium height on numerous occasions.

Transfer speeds are average, somewhere around 20-30mbps however it can fluctuate quite a bit. All in all a worthy purchase for sure. Buy this drive if you can find it for under £50 and are in the market for an external hard drive.
