The 1tb hard drive is not that much more expensive than the 500 mb version and for the amount of storage you are getting here it is great value. The product is sleek in design, lightweight and easy to use. The cable is detachable so easily portable. The device is not so big its a pain to carry around but also not so small that you lose it, and it really is quite incredible the amount of data you can fit on this thing.

The only possible down side is that when you get it it will most likely be formatted to work on PC, which means that if you need to use it on MAC you can only transfer data from the disk and not onto it. This is remedied by simply reformatting it, but you have to clear the disk first which can be a pain if you have a lot of stuff on there. If you get this device remember to format it for both PC and MAC if you will need it for both to save on hassle later.

Other than that, it does the job well, with huge storage and a good price relative to other comparable options. The unit looks and feels like its good quality and has durability. Mine has had a few knocks but still works perfectly after over 6 months of being in the bottom of my bag every day.
