My laptop was becoming more and more clogged up with lots of files. I have a considerable music and film collection that I wish to keep but is not always needed on my laptop. So this lead me to look into ways I could resolve this issue.
I went for the Western Digital external hard drive as it seemed very competitively priced against some of the other options on the market. The Western digital external hard drive also doesn't require a external power source which some other external hard drives require. It's good to have a plug and play external hard drive as it allows me too use it while on the move which is nice. Also useful when I want to move my laptop around the house.
The drive is extremely easy to use and took all but no effort on my part files can just be dragged on and off the drive. While the product also comes with its on docking software which I opted not use, the drive also comes with documentation loaded up unto about how to use the product.
The product seems very durable with it having taken a lot of bashing to the hard drive and it still is working fine for me. The storage size is plenty enough for me to store all the files I'm going to need for the foreseeable future. All in all the external hard drive has served me very well.
