I will try more or less any Avon product, I seem to be obsessed with the stuff and more than likely when a new book comes through my door, I have every intention of passing for a month and not buying anything, however it never it never seems to happen.
Majority of the stuff that I buy are cosmetics or bath and hair care bits, however sometimes I go that little further and venture into buying some of there creams that they have available and to be honest I never understand why I do it because I never really rate them that highly but still continue to throw my money away.
The Avon LIghten Up Under Eye Creamhas been around for a while and comes in a very very small tube, for some reason I always think that they are going to be a lot larger in size and get slightly disappointed when i get them to find that they barely have any cream inside them.
The product comes with a screw cap and to get the cream to comeout you just gently squeeze the tub and at the top it has a very tiny pin hole that the cream comes out of to prevent wastage.
The cream is just white in colour and you add a small amount underneath the eyes on to any dark circles that you may have. I used to apply this on a daily basis, just before I go to bed which is what it suggests on the actual instructions that it comes with.
To get the bets results you need to use this product for at least a month and I wouldn't say that it works wonders however the dark circles underneath you eyes were reduced and my eyes looked a lot more rejuvenated.
I wouldn't use this product all the time as I am sure that their are better products on the market, however it is worth a try as it did work to a certain extent and I was more happier with this product than some of the other creams that I have used.
Time flies... Seasons come and go... Years keep on passing... And suddenly one day I saw marks of old age.....on the skin that was a subject of everyone's admiration... No party would end without compliments on my skin... There wasn't a single get together in which my friends won't say- "What do you do to keep your skin so glowing?" "What is it that you use on your face?" and hey your eyes... "What do you do to your eyes, they are beautiful?" My husband spent hours admiring my beauty... But things have changed now... I went to this last get together of my friends... and I was shocked... "What happened sweetheart?"... "I hope you are O.K." "Your eyes are so puffy" "Hey, look at those wrinkles around your eyes" It was the first get together, for which I didn't wait to get over" Each of those women of my age group looked fine... Everything was changed...except one... My husband still spent hours admiring me... Some things in life really don't change... Then the other day my sis called... And I told her everything... She suggested me to try Avon's Lighten Up Eye Cream... I still wasn't convinced... but I still decided to give it a try... and on our next get together it was again back to usual questions... "Hey, what did you do to your eyes they look great" WOW... Lighten Up Eye Cream works like magic... It helps skin regain and maintain a years-younger look... This unique blend of the most powerful yet gentle anti-aging ingredients known-infused with a unique richness creates a supremely textured, exquisite eye cream that will repair, revitalize and transform the eye area in just weeks! Seasons... Years... Time... And skin... But some things don't... Like my husband's love... Well, this was story of a 35 yr old naa... 35 yr young woman narrated by me... I still have to wait for some 20 odd years to fly...
Bags under the eyes run in my family, so I decided to do something about it, Id tried lots of creams before but were no good, until I tried avon lighten up under eye cream. It is in a white 15ml tube and costs about £7.50. You have to use it morning and night for best results, and after 2 weeks you see results. I didnt think this stuff would work for me, but after a few weeks i started to see a difference in my eyes. Then i saw avons anew instant eye smoother, so I decided to buy some of that aswell. This is in a green 15ml tube and costs around £8, so I decided to do an experiment. I woulod apply lighten up cream to my eyes on a morning, with upward strokes until it was soaked in, then I would put my foundation on the top, then on top of the foundation I would put the instant eye smoother, Just dot it under my eyes and pat it in, till it was soaked in. After a while I could see a difference, no dark black marks, no bags or lines, this was great. I know this is expensive but in some avon books you can get good deals on these products. A couple of weeks ago if you ordered any eye product, such as mascara or eyeliner, they would give you a lighten up cream free. This is the sort of offers I like, when they dont cost much, cos I am not well off, so look for many bargains. I will continue to use these products. I recommend these to everybody to try.
Every now and again, I wander past the YSL cosmetic counter in my local town. Everytime I pass I think "shall I buy it today?" and everytime I have thought "no, I'll get it with next months wages". Know what I'm talking about? YSL Touche Eclat - apprently the miracle worker for covering up dark under eye circles. About three weeks ago I was walking past the YSL counter and I thought, "THAT'S IT! I'M BUYING IT TODAY!" when my friend stopped me and said that Avon do an undereye cream for £7.50 that gets rid of undereye circles! Well, that did it! Not only would I save myself £12.50, I'd get something that would make my circles dissapear and wouldn't simply be covering up the horrible purply-black rings (super attractive as I'm sure you can imagine!). Next say I was on the Avon site, frantically trying to find this 'wonder cream'. And then I found it. There it was 'Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream'...it went straight into my shopping cart. This was the first time I'd ever purchased any Avon product - it was all a brand new experience for me! The blurb next to the picture said that I would have clearer, brighter skin in less than two weeks. Wow! I couldn't wait for it to arrive! In a few days it came. It came in a fairly small cream box which looks quite elegant. Inside there was the 15ml tube and a little leaflet explaining how to use the product. The instructions basically say to apply the cream morning and night. Apparently it was specially developed to be quick-absorbing so that you could apply make-up straight after application. They're absolutly right - it does absorb quickly! My friend who also used this finds that this isn't the case and tends to be a little greasy. I suppose it's different on different skins. It didn't irritate the skin around my eyes at all. I wouldn't suggest applying this immediatly after cleansing. I found this m
ade my skin tingle a bit! If you have super sensitive skin, try a little out first before slapping loads on! Although it's meant to be a gentle cream, it's not worth risking have blotchy red itchy eyes! The product comes nice and easily out of the tube and isn't messy at all. It comes in a box which is always useful but it will stand alone on it's lid (if that little piece of information is at all useful to you!) Within two weeks, the packet claims that the cream will make the skin look noticably younger. I'm only 17 so I'm guessing this doesn't apply to me just yet! After 4 weeks dark circles should be considerably lighter. I've been using this product for two weeks now, morning and night, and have already noticed a (small) difference in the darkness of my circles! Even though the tube is only 15ml, I've hardly got through any of the product! It's definatly going to last me! Bonus! I would recommend this cream to those of you who suffer from dark rings - it certainly seems to make a difference. Hopefully when I get a bit more cash, I'll still get the YSL Touche Eclat but for now the Avon's doing me just fine! If you buy this and are dissatisfied with us, Avon have a policy whereby you can return products even if you've used them! You can order the products online or through the catalogue if you have one. If you don't then you can order one online. I've been flicking through the catalogue they sent along with my order - they got some pretty good buys in there so I think it's worth a look! The one thing that really did get on my nerves was that when I was looking through the brochure, there was my £7.50 on offer for £3.25! HMMMPPPHH! All in all, it's not a wonder product and won't perform miracles - at least in the short run! But give it a try and you might be pleasantly surprised like me! If you want to take a look a

As an Avon Rep I thought I would try the Under Eye Cream which is meant to vanish dark circles and reduce bagginess and puffy eyes. As in my other ops about Avon I said I would tell you the truth, just because I'm a rep doesn't mean to say I like everything Avon does. As I've got older and don't sleep very well, under my eyes have become very purple and in the mornings puff up slightly. Some people say i don't drink enough water which is true, but rather than do this I bought the cream instead. The cream comes in a 15ml size, which is rather small for £7.50, sometimes though you can buy it for half price. You just apply a little bit onto your fingertips and then dot on under your eyes. The best way to rub it in is to start from the outside and gently smooth in to the inside of the under eye area. This stops the skin from stretching and reduces wrinkles,so i'm told. The cream is slightly thick and you only need a bit , but after two weeks of using it saw no sign whatsoever. I kept on going until i finished the tube but didn't notice any difference whatsoever. Even my customers didn't bother re-ordering the item. I think the best thing is to eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep. All of the above I don't do!!!!!
I do not sleep to well and as many Dooyoo readers know, am up most of the night reading and rating opinions or chatting online at one of the user sites that I belong to, so consequently I have dark rings under my eyes. I would love them to go but try as I might, they don?t! Avon has brought out a cream called ?Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream?, which claims to ?dramatically improve the appearance of dark circles in less than two weeks?. A miracle cure or false promises? I am not sure if it is a miracle cure but my dark bags have reduced. Whether this is actually down to the cream entirely is debatable, as when I apply the cream on retiring to bed, I also massage the eye sockets using a combination of gentle rubbing and puncture point techniques. The cream works well as a ?massage cream?. The cream is delicate in constancy and is ideally formulated to use round the sensitive skin surrounding the eyes. It is a pale lemon colour with a delicate, slightly fruity fragrance. It not at all unpleasant. It is formulated in such a way that only a small amount is required. A 15mls tube will last around three to four months, depending on how much the skin absorbs. The skin is left feeling soft and supple, not at all greasy. I find that it will cause my eyes to water if I get the cream on to the eye itself. On the skin, I never seem to have any adverse reactions. ?Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream? also helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. When the cream plumps up the actual skin cells or whether my massage techniques help, I am not sure. However, for some reason my skin seems less ?saggy? around the eyes, after using ?Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream?. This cream has been Ophthalmoloically and Dermatoloically tested. **How to Use** 1) Apply daily, morning and at night. 2) Smooth gently in an inward motion under the eye area. 3) The absorption should be instantaneous so make-up can be applied immediat
ely. **Warning** Seek medial advice if this cream causes a skin rash or irritation and discontinue use. **Cost** £7.50 for a 15mls tube ?Avon Lighten Up Undereye Cream?. Check with your Avon representative for any special offers currently running. Give it a go and if you do not like it you can return it for a full refund, even if you have used some of it! **For more information** Address: Avon Cosmetics Limited Earlstree Road Corby Northants NN117 4AZ Telephone number: 0845 345 8444 Website: www.avon.uk.com
Avon's skin care ranges are well worth a look - there is a product for just about anything and to suit almost every skintype. Have a good look at one of their brochures if you're not a regular customer - many of their products have been given top ratings by the beauty gurus of the fashion and lifestyle mags, and are considerably less expensive than other products making similar claims! With Avon you also *always* have a money back guarantee if you buy something and it brings you out in a rash/whatever! I particularly like lighten up.... it is an eye cream which comes in a small tube and which you use at night. Used every night, it is proven to lessen the appearance of dark circles and fine lines....what's more, I actually think it does! Being at heart a sceptic of apparently magical beauty products which make all kids of (to me) totally wacky claims, it's refreshing to find a product which actually seems to do what it claims to. This product is not sold to lessen puffiness/redness (they have at last one other product *just* for that!) but I find it works to do that as well. You only need a very tiny amount and it lasts for ages. Avon regularly do fantastic deals and offers, so I recommend for any of their products, unless it's one you wan *now*, to wait until you see a good reduction :-)
