      Advantages

      Disadvantages

i would probably buy it again rather than any other purely as it is cheaper

To be honest i bought this product because of its price, when in boots there is a vast array of eye creams from various brands but some of the prices go up to 20 pounds and ive tried so many of the higher priced ones without any improvement i figured i may as well tried a cheaper brand. The boots no7 range is very popular for their protect and perfect range so i thought maybe their cheaper range "time delay" could be just as good. i have some wrinkles around my eyes now and honestly i feel like they will increase as i get older with the eye creams i use making no difference at all, but still i feel a need to use a cream anyway. the nourishing eye cream claims to have antioxidants to protect against visible signs of ageing and a firming complex to reduce lines and dark circles that you already have. it also contains light diffusing particles for extra radiance. when i first squeezed out some of this cream i could see the pink sheen of the light diffusing particles which are there to balance out the green tones of under eye shadows. the cream is thick enough that it feels like it could nourish your skin but without being greasy, i felt the pink sheen did help the tired appearance of my eyes, but i cannot say that i felt the skin under my eyes being any firmer after using this product and my wrinkles still look the same. Ive been using this cream for a few weeks now so maybe i need to give it a bit more time. i am glad i did not pay anymore for the cream.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great cream for the cost!

The Time delay eye cream is very good and lasts for a long time.
I have a lot of skin care and I use a couple of eye creams, I tend to use this one at night time mostly even though it is for both morning and night.

I always find that after applying the cream on an evening, in the mornings my eyes are no where near as puffy as they used to be and area surrounding the eyes feel really soft.

The cream itself is to instantly firm, nourish and soften fine lines which I have to say does. It also reduces signs of dark circles and brightens the eye

You can get this at boots for about £7.99 which I think is very reasonable. It comes in a long thin tube and I only use a small amount on the tip of my finger, dab it with the other finger and then dab the cream around each eye. They say not to rub cream under the eyes!

I fins this a really good cream and at an affordable price

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Ok for someone starting to use an eye cream

I'm such a fan of Boots. I dream of being locked in over-night and left to run riot through the store! Oh what fun that would be...

Unfortunately however I'm in debt up to my eyeballs cos if the place lol
I love all things smelly, well only nice smelly things! I love trying out all the latest products and I'm a sucker for advertising. The two good things about Boots is the offers they have on and of course the advantage card system! I actually had most of my sale stuff free! I cant really complain and of course its my choice to turn my bedroom into a Boots Mark 2!

One of my latest purchases (along with loads of other stuff I will be reviewing soon) is this Time Delay 15ml Tube of Nourishing Eye Cream.

It come in a see through recyclable plastic tube. Its very simple in design telling us what the product is and who it is made by on the front. On the back tells us what it promises and what it's good for and how to use it. The cream itself is white and you can see it through the tube and it squeezes out of the bottom and is a cross between a liquid and a cream. To my nostrils it has a very slight fruit smell. It has a silver plastic screw on lid. It comes in a white box again listing what it is and who it is by.

      What It Does....

Smooths under eyes to instantly firm, nourish and soften firm lines.

This intense formula blends powerful antioxidants to help protect skin against the visible signs of ageing with our specialist skin-firming complex to help reduce fine lines and minimise dark circles. Light-diffusing particles brighten eyes for an extra boost of radiance.

      To Use....

Dot around the eyes and blend lightly with fingertips. Use morning and evening after moisturising. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

      My Verdict....

I have used other Time Delay products before so was excited to see this one! I've been using it a few days now.

Firstly a little of the cream goes a very long way and I was impressed by the size of this one, it will easily last me 6 months and that's using it morning and evening and under make up if I wish. As i said earlier it doesn't smell much which is important to my eyes as they are very sensitive (at the moment I have an eye infection and this doesn't hurt them). It blends very easily and the skin on which you apply it to does feel velvety soft and is none sticky

It promises to give a boost of radiance. Well jury is out on that one to be perfectly honest. It's not a high beam product or a cosmetic and I cant say I've really noticed a lightening effect but saying that at the moment Ive been getting some better sleep so I cant really tell.

As for the fine lines being tackled, I'm sorry to say no it hasn't done that. It doesn't give a time scale on the packaging to how long it should take to start combating them and it hasn't. However will continue usage and update this review if necessary!

I have noticed however that the skin under my eyes has been a little bit 'rough' looking. I think majorly down to the eye infection I have. Of course due to this I haven't been using anything directly near my eye but I did dab just a little under my eye and have noticed it looks much smoother.

      In Conclusion....

I wouldn't buy this again. Simply cos there are much better eye creams available. I love the Time Delay Eye Brightener Cream which really does give dark circles a bashing into oblivion and I prefer Superdrugs own Vitamin Eye Gel that instantly makes my lines run off! This didn't live up to its claims which I find so unusual with this range.

If you haven't got many lines maybe this would be a nice gentle way to start protecting from them. However if like me, you have a few then really try something else!

£7.99 per 15ml (Boots own brand)
