I was introduced to Gayle Hayman (Beverley Hills) a few years ago on QVC and have been buying their Eye Lift Gel any time I have some spare cash because it works for me. The presenter stated it was not available anywhere else in the UK but I'm sure it must be on sale online? Even so QVC do have good prices (supposedly because of their 'buying power) and I sometimes shop with them because of their 30 day money back guarantee.
I bought my last ones last summer because they had a good deal - 2 for £35 (with easipay installments) instead of a single tube which cost £29.50. Each one is 30ml which lasts a long time as you only need a little for each application.
My tubes look slightly different from the Dooyoo picture because these are a toothpaste-type shape and the tube stands on its lid. Same colours though, probably with same ingredients and, of course, same logo.
The gel is clear and has no fragrance and texture-wise I would say it is slightly thicker than KY jelly. It is recommended for both men and women and is intended as a product which helps reduce puffiness around the eyes. However, although it is not branded as such, I find it works well around my 'elevenses' and around my 'marionette' lines. I also see a difference when I use it under my eyes as the 'bags' seem to diminish - not dramatically but enough to make me notice.
My eye area seems to be the part that has aged me most and taking medication has not helped the situation. In the past I have tried eye creams but these just seem to make my eyes look worse. I have also tried massage, cucumber, tea bags (brown/green) and as a last resort pee - NOT advise and it does not work - believe me!!
GH have a great product here in my opinion as it is lovely to apply because it glides on with the ring finger. It can also be used as an eye mask by spreading a little onto cotton pads and relaxing for 5-10 minutes. It can be used sparingly or, as a boost, adding a thicker layer at night.
I have fairly sensitive eyes but have never felt any discomfort which is hugely important when using eye products.
The list of ingredients is fairly long but I recognise the plant and flower extracts which are natural. There are a few I do not know but am reassured there are no parabens.
All in all, despite the price, I would recommend giving this gel a try especially if using QVC (then you only have to pay the postage to return and get refund if it does not work for you). Obviously we cannot get the results we would get by undergoing a surgical eyelift but this product does,in my opinion, make the eyes more open, less puffy, less tired and overall boosting my confidence.
Gale Hayman Eye Lift Gel is one of the best eye products I have used. It is a light, clear, cooling gel which you can apply morning or evening. It can also double as an eye "mask" if you apply a thicker coat over the entire eye area and leave overnight.
Using only a pea size amount, and with your ringfinger, it is massaged gently around the eye area, nor forgeting above and below the brow and into any outer eye wrinkles. You may or may not feel a slight tingle, nothing to worry about, it is the product working and I definately feel the skin is tautened around the eye area after use. As I have one eyelid which is heavier than the other, this product really helps relieve the "heavy lidded" look on that side. As I said, it is not surgery, but I am too much of a coward for that, but it recieves rave reviews, has a cult following and is reasonably priced - you have nothing to lose by trying it. It is available on a multitude of websites, QVC.UK and Ebay with a price range from around 2.50 GPB upwards for a 15ml tube. One tube lasts an age if used correctly.
This product also appears on Ciao.uk under the same name.
Everyone loves a cheat, don't they?
This eye gel from Gale Hayman is ostensibly a skincare treatment rather than a purely cosmetic product, however the results are instant enough that you can immediately tell the difference.
Part of the Youth Lift range, the Gel comes packaged in a simple pink tube with black lettering - the outer box is in the same colours - and although it perhaps looks a little cheap by itself, if you have a few products they can look quite swanky and spa-like on your bathroom shelf.
The tube undoes with a screw-lid, and you dispense the gel in a little blob onto your fingertips, and then apply to the whole eye area. It feels cool as it goes on, and there is no noticeable perfume.
It takes a few minutes for the gel to dry, and as it does you can actually feel the skin tightening up around the eye area! This sounds unpleasant but its ok - you don't so much get a scary face-lift effect as a gentle "wake-up" to your eyes!
Its easy to apply make-up over the top - in fact the gel provides a nice base - and the overall effect is brilliant! Smooth eye area, wide-awake eyes, even skin tone. My OH asked if I'd used different make-up as I looked much younger, and that was before I'd even applied foundation over the top!
The tube is 15ml, and the RRP is £20. If I could only find it at that price I would still use it everyday, as a little goes a very long way and the tube lasts me around two months. But the bonus is you can buy it on Amazon for only £5.99 at the moment, so if you have any spare miles and fancy a LIFT I can highly recommend this!
