Johnson's 3 in 1 Eye Make-Up Remover is gentle to your skin. The skin around the eye is very sensitive and thin so harsh chemicals can irritate the eyes. Johnson's have come up with perfect remover for any type of make up. I started using this 3 months ago and I really like the product, it has no harsh chemicals it is easy to use and doesn't leave a trace of make on my eyes. Other eye make up removers such as pads and wipes have been a real pain. I take my entire make up off before bed and usually I am tired. The last thing I want to do is be standing by the mirror rubbing my eyes for hours with the wipes or awful removers. This remover takes just two sweeps with cotton wool and it just slides off! It has an oil base, which makes it easier to get rid of all the mascara and eye shadow. If you like to wear lots of eye make up daily like me this is great for you.
Dark circles sometimes can be confused with traces of eye make up that has not been removed from the skin. So to keep your eyes looking bright in the morning and make up free it's a beauty must have! Or just to clean your eye area it works well.
It removes waterproof mascara, which can be stubborn and harsh on lashes. You get 100ml in the bottle it will last a while I get at least 4 weeks use from mine. Place two drops on a small piece of cotton wool and sweep the eye area gently, do not rub just sweep the eye area.
Price; I purchased my bottle at boots and it is stocked in most supermarkets and chemists. Online beauty shops also sell this product. You will pay around £2.99 for this product
That is a fair price.
Overall I would recommend this to make up lovers. Its important to never leave eye make up on overnight. Look after your eyes as old make up can build up bacteria and will lead to eye infections.
5 out of 5 from me!
I'm quite fussy when it comes to make up and I like trying new stuff all the time, but there were times when I didn't have much money to spend on my cosmetics and somehow I ended up buying this very low-cost Johnson's eye make up remover. Surprisingly, this is one of the items I'm buying again and again when I run out, and even when I occasionally switch to try something else, I still have one of these to hand.
This eye make up remover comes in a 100ml plastic bottle with pink flip top lid. The bottle is flat and just perfect if you don't have much space left - hardly takes any space at all. It's clear so you can see the content and sticker at the back had both list of ingredients and directions to use. The bottle can be recycled and content must be used within 6 months from opening, which is quite easy to do considering it's just 100ml.
The remover is a liquid in two layers - top purple oily one is supposed to condition the eyelashes and care for the delicate eye area and bottom clear part is the make-up remover itself (info from the packaging). This is what Johnson's call 3 in 1 effect. It has very, very mild scent, similar to their baby range, although to smell it you have to sniff the open bottle, it doesn't stay on (you actually can't even smell it while using it).
You need to shake the bottle before you put some on the cotton wool pad and hold on the eye for few seconds before wiping the make-up away.
With some other two-layer eye make up removers, I came across the situation when there was just a small amount left in the bottle, and the layers would even blend together or there would be just one "colour" left. This doesn't happen with Johnson's - at the moment I have enough for 5-6 uses, and you can still clearly see two separate layers.
Does it work?
The note on the front sticker claims it removes even waterproof mascara, and it is absolutely true - there's no need to rub drastically to remove even good quality mascara, creamy eye-shadows or eye-shadows applied on a layer of primer. It doesn't sting or irritate even if it gets to your eyes (well, when I'm half asleep it sometimes happens). The oily part conditions the area around eyes leaving it soft and moisturised, even though I would still use an eye cream.
Price & overall opinion:
Johnson's, having much experience with baby products, hit the spot with this eye make up remover. The main thing is that it does the job perfectly while being gentle and absolutely not irritating. I have seen it at normal price of £2.99, but I regularly buy it in Pound shops for £1. At this price it's a great value, even though the bottle is quite small. I'm using it very generously and one bottle can last for approx. 2 months. It's a great product I would recommend to anyone.
When it comes to make-up remover I believe I use the best one ever - No7 Eye Make-Up Remover BUT a bottle of that is very expensive and when I ran out about a week ago I simply didnt have the cash on me to buy another bottle so I had to settles for something cheaper that would hopefully have the same effect and end results. I basically only got this when I ran into th shop to get some Johnsons baby wipes and saw this on offer so I thought Ive got nothing to lose really and if all esle fails there is a constant supply of baby wipes in my house anway. I have to say I was quite surprised and while I still wouldnt change from my No7 brand if I was ever strapped for cash again I would definately buy another bottle of this because it does work!

For: Removing make-up form your eyes whilst staying gentle to your skin, caring for the skin around your eyes and conditioning your lashes.
As you can see from this picture with this review the solution comes in two layers which are light puple and clear and to use you do have to shake the bottle for these two layers to mix up if you dont you wont get full effect from this. This is super easy to use as you just squeeze a few drops onto a cotton wool pad and then begin to wipe around your eyes. Depending on how much eye make-up you wear you will have to use less or more than a few drops but even on a night out when Ive worn quite a lot 4-5 drops on a cotton pad for each eye normally does the trick. This is very runny as it is kind of like water so be careful how hard you squeeze the bottle as you dont need too much to get the job done. The only thing I find is that this does feel slightly greasy but that is the same as my usual one anyway so it doesnt bother me too much - it might annoy others though.
The problem I find with most eye make-up removers is that they are too strong and sting my eyes or so mild they dont take any make-up off but I think this one is a happy medium. The is strong enough to remove any make-up Ive ever used with just a few wipes across my eye and no scrubbing or excessive rubbign necassary so you dont end up with red and sore eyes. This removes liquid/kohl liner, brown & black eyeshadow and mascara (both normal and waterproof) with ease and Ive never come across anything this cant get rid of so it is brilliant and just does exactly what it says on the tin. But it is mild enough not to hurt or irritate your eyes at all and I do love it. Its a cheap and cheerful product that gets the job done and I cant think of anything bad about this at all. If your looking for a cheap make-up remover that actually works then Id go for this one but Ill be sticking with No7 for the time being!

I've always trusted the name of Johnson & Johnson so when I ran out of my usual, but very expensive, eye make-up remover I decided to give this product a try.
I guess it's called 3 in 1 because it claims to do the following -
- remove eye make up
- condition the lashes
- care for the area around the eyes
I paid £2.99 for 100ml bottle 3 weeks ago and it looks as if it's been barely used although I've used it every night. I'd say this is a real bargain as the one I normally buy costs over £16 and this does the job just as well.
The remover is as shown in the picture except that instead of being clear it actually has 2 layers - one of which is purple, the other being clear. I didn't realise at first that you need to shake the bottle to blend the contents, then it's just a matter of pouring onto a couple of make-up remover pads/ cotton wool and apply to the eye make up you want to remove.
Personally I like to use pads around the eyes as I'm worried about getting any 'bits' into my eyeballs as a friend of mine did many years ago!
The remover itself is slightly runnier than I'd expected but don't worry because it does the job of removing eye-liner and mascara (even waterproof) in one or two gentle wipes.
I have quite sensitive eyes but have had no irritation whatsoever from using this product.
The only thing I'm not keen on is the fact that it's a little too oily and, if not removed properly, can leave a slight greasy film around the eye area. Once I noticed this I haven't had any problem.
I only use it at night time because I know I'll not be using any eye make up for 8 or so hours so I'm not sure how easily you could re-apply any eye make-up soon after removal as it may just slide off?
Despite the above I would definitely buy this remover again. I'm not sure if it actually does condition the lashes (I don't have that many to notice!) but I've noticed the under-eye area seems to be softer and smoother. It does a great job of removing eye make up though it has to be said and for this reason alone I'd recommend it.
After seeking advice from reviews on here i decided to try the johnsons eye make up remover. i use the 3 in 1 wipes everyday and really like them on my skin but recently my eyes have been quite sore and watering and i think this is due to me rubbing and scrubbing my mascara off with face wipes-not good!
I got this cute bottle from morrisons when i was doing my weekly shop (this is how much i wanted it because i usually stick by superdrug in order to get 10% student discount) i paid £2.99 for the cute and girly bottle of eye make up remover. I can't comment too much on the value for money as i don't know how long it will last me yet and i havn't bought this sort of thing in the past (i will update this review if i find it runs out quickly/lasts forever!)
The liquid needs a good shake to mix the purple liquid with the clear parts, and then it is ready to squeeze onto some cotton wool, through the small hole underneath the bottle's flip top. The bottle is slim and very easy to hold but the liquid comes out quite fast and tends to drip down the lid a little, which makes the bottle greasy as the product is quite oily. This isn't a huge issue as it only spills a tiny bit which can be wiped dry with cotton wool.
Mascara and eyeliner (i use regular not waterproof) comes off extremely easily, i was shocked how black it was on the cotton wool, obviously my old habit of using face wipes didn't remove half of my make up because i have never seen it that black before! it only requires a gentle wipe to remove all make up, although i wear quite a lot so use 2 or 3 cotton pads on each eye.
i only use this at night but don't fancy using it before having to reapply make up as it is quite oily, but not greasy. i have skin which gets greasy easily and this make up remover doesn't make my skin greasy, it moisturises and nourishes my skin and eyelashes, which is what the bottle says it is designed to do.
Since using this i have noticed my mascara doesn't get clumps in it so easily, so this must be doing something good.
I would definitely buy this again on the results so far, and i have only been using it for 4 days.
This product is made by Johnson and Johnson and claims to remove make up, condition lashes and care for eye area. I purchased the product from Tesco when it was on special offer.
The product comes in a clear plastic bottle with a light pink lid which flips up, the product comes out through a small hole. The packaging is quite subtle the labels on the front and back are transparent with the product information, logo etc printed on it. The label on the back of the bottle lists the products claims, instructions for use and ingredients.
The product is made up of two separate layers of liquid, and I have to be honest at first I didn't realise this and so wasn't shaking the product before use! Still worked, but it was very very oily! But after reading the instructions on the back and following them shaking the bottle well before applying the product to cotton wool. I have found that this does remove eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow well; there is no need to be rough on your eye area by trying to 'drag' your make up off. This is not a harsh eye make up remover and has been gentle yet effective. This product has not caused any irritation to the skin around my eye area, and has left it feeling conditioned and clean.
This product is quite an oily eye make up remover; I would not recommend using it if you are taking off your make up to reapply the same day as it leaves a slight residue around the eye area. I would say that this is the only down side to this product. So if I'm taking off my make up to reapply for a night out I just use a facial wipe!
I was looking for a new eye make up remover and a friend recommended the Johnson's 3 in 1 Eye Make Up Remover. So I popped into Boots and picked up a small bottle of it which was 100ml in size. It comes in a clear flat bottle with a round pink flip open top. The liquid inside looks slightly bizarreas it is layered, the top half is lilacy purple in colour with the bottom being clear.
Before you use it you must shake it thoroughly to ensure that the two layers mix properly together. After shaking it the liquid becomes a pinky purple in colour. To use it apply some to a cotton wool pad or ball and then gently hold on the eye area for a few seconds before carefully wiping away over the closed lid and eye area.
I thought the 3 in 1 eye make up remover was excellent and very effective, it removed all my eye make up, even the sometimes hard to remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It is also supposed to condition eyelashes with its moisturising and restructuring ingredients. I found my eyelashes after use were softer and certainly made applying mascara to them a lot easier!
The eye make up remover is also suitable for sensitive eyes and has been opthalmolgically tested for mildness.
I cannot recommend this product highly enough it is easy to use, very effective and does what it says on the bottle and to top it all is a bargain at around £3 a bottle!
I've already reviewed the Garnier Eye Make-Up Dissolver, which I was very pleased with, but after reading the earlier review of this product on Dooyoo I decided to go out and get some, seeing as I love to try new things. Also, I thought it sounded cheaper than the Garnier version, which appealed.
In Superdrug, I looked at the prices and came to the conclusion that, in real terms, this product is no cheaper than the other version. It costs £2.93 a bottle for 100ml, whereas the Garnier product costs around £5 for 200ml - meaning that overall this product is slightly more expensive. However, it just so happened that this was on a buy one get one free offer, so I decided to get some anyway.
The product comes in a nice, neat little bottle with a pink lid, and a label with the standard Johnson's packaging which has a pinky-purple theme. The bottle is clear, which is good, as to use the eye make-up remover you need to shake up the two liquids (one of which is clear, one of which is lilac - it's pretty!) before applying. It uses the same principle as the Garnier product, which is why it works so well, I think.
The instructions say: "Shake thoroughly before each use to mix the two layers. Apply cleanser to cotton wool/pad and gently hold on eye area for a few seconds. Wipe away gently with downward strokes over the closed lid". I followed the instructions and was very impressed. All my makeup came off very easily, even mascara (which was not waterproof I must add). The product was very gentle, and didn't sting my eyes at all even though I'm sure I got some in my eyes! My eyes felt really soft after using it too.
This product claims to remove waterproof mascara, but I've never used waterproof mascara in my life so can't say whether this is accurate or not. However, I would have no problem believing this to be true, as it works so well on normal mascara!
Overall, I'm very impressed with this product. There isn't really much to choose between this one and the Garnier product, and I will continue to buy both depending on which one is on special offer, although one advantage this one has is that its 100ml size makes it much easier to carry around if you're going away for the weekend. Also, if you're off on holiday via plane you can take it in your hand luggage.
This eye make-up remover is ideal for those with sensitive eyes, people who wear contact lenses, anyone who doesn't want to rub their eyes and those who are travelling. Anyone who wants a hassle-free way to remove eye make-up, really!
This dual oil eye make up remover is an absolute snip at £2.99 for 100ml - especially as it's suitable for sensitive eyes and skin. It removes all make up, even waterproof mascara whilst conditioning and cleansing the eye area and eyelashes.
It comes in a clear plastic bottle (which you can recycle green folk!) with a pink lid. A clear bottle is the best container for this product as this way you can see the oils mixing together when you shake it and see how much you have left. It uses the same old faithful Johnsons logo and baby pink writing that is synonymous with the tried and trusted brand.
It is very easy to use - just shake the bottle (whilst closed!) to mix the two oil layers and then apply to a cotton pad, hold over the eye area for a few seconds and wipe downwards to get rid of the make-up. No rubbing, no pulling and definitely no tugging - great news for those worried about damaging the delicate skin around the eyes and giving yourself premature wrinkles doing so.
I find that this remover will take off all of my black eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara in just a few strokes - unlike others where I have had to resort to rubbing and stinging my eyes with removers in the past. This stuff has even removed false lash glue without making a huge mess or leaving flecks in my lashes. My eyelashes are also looking better conditioned since I started using this - making mascara application even better now.
This is good for your skin, works fantastically (and quickly) and is at a purse-friendly price - what more could you want from it?
