Recommended if you can pick it up cheaper.

I have used the Lancaster Sun Care Sun Beauty Eyes & Lips SPF 20 product on a number of occasions - although I have never paid the full price tag for it! The most recent time I bought the product it cost me just £11.00 from Amazon, but at the moment I can see that it's only available on Amazon for £23.88 (which is close to the full retail price). I'm would be willing to buy this product when it's available at the cheaper price, but I would not be prepared to pay the full price because it's just far too expensive.

Essentially this is a lipstick (and an eye stick) which is designed to protect the lips from the sun and from the cold. It comes in a not very attractive orange lipstick-type tube which comes attached to a blue cord which can be tied around something or worn as a chain. I usually would tie it to my bag so that it's easily accessible and isn't lost. As I said, the tubing is orange and I think this is a little ugly and so I'm not that keen on the packaging, although I do like the overall style of the product. Inside is the lip salve which can be twisted up and down by the little dial which is in the base of the stick - and this works well without sticking.

Applying the product is easy because it can be applied just like a lipstick. I have never used this on my eyes so I can't really comment on it's effectiveness here. It is colourless and odourless, but it does leave a nice sheen on my lips and makes them look nicely "finished". I like the fact that it's not obvious at all that I'm wearing the Lancaster Sun Care Sun Beauty Eyes & Lips product as there is no whitening. It contains SPF 20 and so they do help protect from the sun, and I can vouch for this because I wore it on a recent trip to Dubai and my lips stayed nicely moisturised and in good condition. Once I've applied it then I don't need to apply it again for about six hours and the whole time my lips feel like they are in really moisturised and supple. I can wear lipstick on top of this, but to be honest, I don't tend to bother.

Overall, I think this is a good product, but I wouldn't pay the full price for it. The reduced price is worth it because it is a high quality product that offers more protection and moisturization that the average lip salve protector.
