I suffer from saggy lose skin around the eyes with fine lines and wrinkles. I really needed something to smooth, firm and tone up the eye area.
Having found the face cream - anti-wrinkle ultra lift from the Renergie range, I was hoping that this was the 'ONE' which would do the trick. All other eye creams were usually just nourishing and useful for hydration. This is one of the very few that claims to tone, firm and lift the skin.
The cream is a lovely pretty pastel pink colour, quite light in texture. Very easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin. For me, it leaves a little light film, but probably due to its richness. But generally does not leave a greasy feeling.
Unfortunately, one of the factors that I look for in a product, is its immediate effect on first application, the best ones always give me an immediate visible result. With this cream, it is not so apparent, although, I do find the cream quite comforting and nourishing. No immediate lifting effects but after a night's sleep, my eye area does appear smoother and less lined.
The cream does not firm or tone as much as it claims which is disappointing. It looks a lovely cream, has a nice texture and very nourishing but perhaps does not have as much anti-ageing properties.
Worth a try if given freely...but maybe not to buy unless you're desperate. Not very good value for money - at £45 for 15ml...
This is an anti-wrinkle and firming eye-cream. You apply it carefully with your fingertips under your eyes (don't rub). How does it look like? - It's a beige cream. How does it smell like? - A discreet creamy fragrance. How does it feel like? - Refreshing, very pleasant. How does it work? - Hmmm, I didn't see any difference; the wrinkles are still there... I prefere it to eye-gels though, because you don't get little dry white bits on the surface of your skin (which can happen if you use too much gel). My skin doesn't absorb this cream very well. If I use it in the mornings and apply my mascara, I look like Alice Cooper after a while... If you believe in a daily skin-routine with lots of different creams and potions for all different parts of your face, then buy it. But if you (like me) believe that a good moisturizer is enough and that all additional products are just a money-spinner, then don't buy it. I will use the rest of my eye-cream in the evenings and that's it. No more eye-creams for me.
