jf1428 Challenge Pedestal Chrome Fan 16": ... dubious at first about buying the Argos "challenge" own brand as have been bitten before, but thought this was worth the risk as old fan was knackered. My criteria was cheap three speed, turny round thing,on a stand, prefferably not bloody white!! Kerpow! there it was the 16" chrome job from Argos, on offer at a shade under twenty quid. Bit of construction needed as blade needs attaching to spind...

sugar_snap123 Honeywell HT-800
... bought this fan 2 days ago, due to the scorching weather we have recently been having. I live in a 1 bed ground floor flat in Cardiff, and it just seems to be like a greenhouse at the moment! Windows open and still its just not cool enough. So I bought this fan for night time when I am sleeping, and in the evening when we don t want the windows wide open. I puchased this from Argos, but you can buy from many places online like amazon etc. ...Asthetics... This is quite a small fan - it s not one on a massive stand, its more of a table-top fan. It is black all over, except for the word "honeywell" written in red on the front. It s quite compact, so it doesn...

EggMan Honeywell HF-T311
... initially bought this thinking it would make a suitable desk fan for use in my stuffy office. Wrong!!, this is no way suitable for sitting on your desk within close proximity of you. The fan is small enough to sit on a desk and has the appropriate fixing holes so it can also be wall mounted. The base of the fan is approximately 11 inches wide, with the fan approximately 8.5 inches in diameter. The unit is approximately 6.5 inches deep, though this increases as the fan is titled from it s upright position. The fan has three speed settings. The button is behind the top of the fan, which makes it difficult as you need to reach over the fan when turning on or off...

D-RAY2000 Q Connect Clip-on Desk Fan 150mm (6)
... cool in the summer can be a bit of a nightmare especially in Britain where we get that horrible heat, you know the one, no sun just humidity. I find myself sitting some days/nights with the windows open but still feeling far too hot especially when I am slumped in my high backed leather computer chair but I have found the perfect gizmo to eliminate my problem. The Q connect clip on fan with its 6 inch blades just clips on to the side of my computer desk and almost silently keeps me feeling very cool. It has a retail price of £24.99 but can be bought much cheaper, I bought mine from a local office supply shop for £9.99 and I am so glad I did; now my time on the co...
