It's been hot this summer so far, a little too hot for my liking. It's not the day times that I find difficult to cope with, its a night. So a couple of weeks back I went out to M&S and purchased this fan. Because it was a display model I got it for £20. I can't remember the price for a new one. I have to say that this fan is great. The cord that attaches it to the mains is very long, allowing you to position your fan exactly where you need it. The fan runs at three different speedies. Having brought and returned a similar sized tower fan a few months ago (as it seemed of poor quality) this Honeywell / Duracraft fan has been a great replacement. Honeywell is a brand that I trust though our tower fan is only labeled as 'Duracraft' and I was worried at first that I had been duped! However after switching it on I was impressed by it's smoothness and relative quietness and the power of the circulating air. This fan is made entirely from a thin white plastic thus making it easy to move about.
