      a great desk fan

Well i hope im not going to jinks us by saying this but i think sumer has actually arrived, the weather is hotting up so into the attic i went on thursday to fetch the fans out to keep us cool. This fan i use by my desk where i spend a lot of time on the computer, it is a great fan and realy cools you down, There is a pin in the back of the fan that you can pull up to allow it to move from side to side 180' or push it down when the fan is in the position you want it in to keep it pointing in one direction, i use ours pointing at me otherwise as it moves away from you you get a waft of hot air which kind of defeats the object of having the fan there. It has 3 speeds controlled on the base, 1 is quite slow and irritating as i can still see the blades flickering around, 2 is my favorite as it spins fast enough so that i cant see the blades moving and keeps me nice and cool, 3 is a bit high for how close i sit to the fan at the desk and leaves me looking windswept but is great if you need the fan to cover a larger distance. We have had this fan 2 years now and it is still going strong, it comes with a years warrenty, has a protective mesh on the front to stop fingers getting cut off and this can be removed for cleaning which makes cleaning it a lot easier. It is powered by electric so you will need a socket near to where you want it.
