“ Brand: Cesar UK / Type: Costume „
All children like to play pretend and dressing up is perfect for them to do this.
When it came to christmas I asked my children to sit down and pick some stuff from the argos book to send their letter to santa. Both of my boys picked this costume luckly my step son picked a few others as well so I didn't have to buy them the same.
I visited argos to buy this outfit for £20 when I got home I took it out the pack to make sure that it would fit. The size on the packet was 5-7 years of age and when I saw it it was great for his age which he was nearly 5.
In the pack came a pair of green trousers that were reversible to make black trousers, a white and black ben 10 t shirt that had a velcro fastening on the back, a padded red white and black alien top that had 4 arms that also had a velcro fastening on the back and a red mask to enhance the alien costume. It also comes with a soft piece of fabric that goes around the wrist to make a watch.
This has been warn that many times now that there is a hole in the trousers and a stain on the top and also now the mask has been ripped. This has been perfect for playing at home, he has also wore it for fancy dress at school and only yesterday 9 months after it was bought he put it on to walk down the road to his grandads.
My son is getting bigger now and I have noticed that the trousers still fit but the tops are getting quite small in the body which is a shame, I don't think that a 7 year old would be able to fit in it and bigger sizes should be made. It is also a shame that there is only one alien costume made it would have been lovely to have had a selection of the dress up for him because he loves this program so much.
i got my son this costume for xmas last year and he absolutely loves it the downside to the outfit was the sizeing the top was quite an ok fit could have been a little bigger but the pants were massive and had to turn the waist on them up 3 or 4 times on the. overall i would say it was a good product well made and the price was ok when you think i paid £30 for the ben 10 van thing and he never plays with that.
My 4.5 year old is obsessed by the cartoon BEN 10. It's about a boy who has a watch which means he can turn into 10 different aliens, one of which is four arms......
My son was desperate for this in the Argos catalogue (damn that argos catalogue!) and so for christmas i paid the very expensive £24.99 and duly wrapped the box ready for him on xmas morn. (have just noticed a box to the right stating you may buy from amazon for 22.34 - kicking myself now!)
This present went down a treat and i was pleasantly suprised by the quality. The trousers are reversible and has withstood many a wash and all sort of play activity (and he even wore them to school 2 days when i had trouble with his school trousers!) and they really are excellent quality. The material is soft and not unlike some of the clothes he has in his mainstream wardrobe.
The t-shirt which is worn with the combat side of the trousers is good quality too, not the standard 'make you sweat a bucket' that most dress up clothes are made of. My only gripe is that the age range is 5-7 and my son is a large 4 i agree (he wears age 6-7 clothes) and although the trousers fitted perfectly the t-shirt was slightly 'belly-top' ish and his belly button would peek at me every so often. Not really becoming of a superhero....
The four arms t-shirt is a 1/4 size t-shirt with 4 arms attached and is great fun. The dog had plenty of entertainment from the hanging limbs and my son really believed he had 4 arms!
Finally, the mask. Although reminiscent of s and m or wwf wrestling (not sure there is much of a difference between those 2) my son thought he looked the nuts in it! It is very good quality and more like a balaclava so fits snuggly and doesn't fall off every 5 mins like our power rangers dress-up (my son has tons of dress-up! i think he may have issues)
Overall a great pressie for a ben 10 fan although i would have preferred heat blast or grey matter as my son likes to go around bashing everything like four arms.... Great for roleplay and imaginative learning.
Be Ben and then transform into Four Arms, one of his alien characters, with this deluxe reversible costume. Age 5 to 7 years.
