      a good helmet

==Lambs Toys Dressing Up Army Helmet==

I am very pleased that Jack has such a vivid imagination and he loves to dress up and does tons of role playing. His collection of dressing up items is ever growing and the latest addition to his toy box is this Army Helmet.

At first I found Jacks love of Army Men rather cute but now he seems to only want to play with his army men and run around brandishing his toy guns and shouting at the top of his voice "Pow Pow". This is now not so cute! Himself however, wanting to bring out Jacks tough side, rather likes this side of "his boy" and couldn't help but buy this Army Helmet for Jack at a brilliant price of £2 from the internet.

I do have to say that the price is very good as a lot of dressing up clothes from the Early Learning Centre are nearer to £10 so £2 is definitely a good bargain.

The Army Helmet itself is pretty simple and consists of a plastic khaki green hard type helmet in the America forces type style. It has a white sticker on the front which has some sort of stripes on and looks very military. I have to be honest and say that I don't really know what the stripes mean or if indeed they mean anything at all.

The Army Helmet also has black plastic chin strap which is adjustable to make the Army Helmet fit on most heads (although Himself looks a right plonker in it!). The black plastic strap is made of a soft type of plastic which means that it doesn't rub or irritate the skin under the chin at all.

The strap is attached the the Army Helmet by small silver pins which are of a good quality and even with the hard wearing that it gets from Jack playing with it, it is lasting well and very sturdy.

When Jack has been wearing it for a little while he does tend to get rather hot and sweaty and the other day he had it on a good half an hour, charging round the flat and when I sat him down to take the Army Helmet off his hair was literally dripping with sweat so there is a bit is an airing issue with it.

On the whole although I do not overly agree with Jack's Army Men obsession the Helmet does look cute on him and it was certainly good value for money.

I think a score of 4 out of 5 stars is in order and the minus mark purely for he fact there are no air holes to ensure the sweat problem doesn't happen. Otherwise highly recommended!

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
