For my Sister's 21st Celebrations in town we all went Dressed as Prison Convicts wearing these Outfits. I loved the theme and the look as at the time it was one I hadn't seen much of. But getting Dressed in these Outfits did have its complications and wearing the Costume didn't end up being as Easy as it looked.

We all paid £20 each for the Costume from an Online Fancy Dress site (I think it was called Jokers Masquerade) and this included delivery. On arrival we were very pleased with the Costumes, but quite Concerned at how Short they were! We had all expected to be able to wear the Costume as a Dress on its own, but that just wasn't going to be possible with the length of the Costume barely covering our bums! So we all had to buy White/Black shorts to go underneath it as well which was an extra expense. But once on, with the Shorts underneath, the Costume looked greated. With Black and White Strips and a Small Cut-Out section to show a Little bit of Cleavage, the Outfit looked great. It even had a Prisoner Number on the back for extra effect.

The next problem we had was this the little Hat that comes with the Outfit. It is also Black and White Stiped and looks as though it will just fit nicely onto your head like a little Cap. But the hat is so badly fitting it only just about sits loosely right on the top of your head, so there is no way it will stay on without falling off. So at another extra expense, we had to all buy several Hair Clips to secure our hats in place which was a bit of a nuisance and meant we couldn't take the hats off all night.

Finally the costume comes with a Ball & Chain which is Plastic and secures around your wrist with a strap which you just slide over your hand and around your wrist. Although it felt cheap, once on our arms the Ball and Chains looked great and we were pleased with them. That was until we were out in the bars and several of us looked down at our arms and noticed we just had a bare black strap around our wrists, where had the Ball and Chains gone?! They had obviously been so poorly made that the Ball and Chain part had fell off nearly all of our Outfits, none of us had even noticed! So we only came home with half of our Outfit in tact.

The Outfit was a big Hit in town and we did receive a lot of nice Compliments about the idea, but the hastles that came with this Outfit did let it down somewhat. The Outfit is apparently 30" long and Dry Clean only, it is available in 3 different Sizes which are;

Small (6-8 UK)

Medium (8-10 UK)

Large (10-12 UK)
