Great outfit, little boys love it! OK quality; A bit expensive.

This is one of my son's favourite things. It fits well (the chest part bulges a bit, but is comfortable nonetheless. The sizing is perfect for the specified age. The suit fastens with velcro at the back, and the yellow belt ties on separately. The fabric is a little bit thin / flimsy - no more so than other similar dressing up outfits, but this one was quite expensive so I am hoping it lasts. The velcro on the back does sometimes catch the nearby fabric and create pulls, so it doesn't look quite perfect any more. The mask fits well and is very soft and therefore nice to wear. Having the fake boots part is a slight pain if the costume is slightly big, because it drags a bit on the floor, but it does look effective. Overall, this is a very exciting and pleasing costume for any little boy, it looks great and the accessories like belt, mask and cape make it lots of fun. The quality is OK, although it is expensive for a costume in my opinion.

        A good dressing up outfit

My daughter is such a tom boy and when I asked her what she wanted to dress up as for a Halloween party she told me she wanted to be batman. At first I thought she meant bat girl but no it was definitely batman. After a few attempts of trying to sway her I decided to give up and let her be what she wanted so off I went in search for a batman dressing up costume. I looked at a few places but I could only seem to find the grey and blue costume which is based on the new batman series of batman the brave and the bold but she wasn't really keen on it. In the end I found a nice full costume in toys r us made by a company called rubies. The costume comes in a cardboard box with plenty of pictures of batman and the logo on. It has a clear front so you can see the costume inside although mine looked like it had been thrown in there. The costume cost me £20.00. This costume consists of: Black and grey jumpsuit with boot tops Yellow tie belt Cape and head piece The costume comes in three different sizes which are as follows: Small - 3-4 Medium - 5-7 Large - 8-10 I chose the medium costume as my daughter is nearly 5 but she is really tall for her age. The costume is however big fitting. The jumpsuit has a grey body with the large cuffs, boot tops and undies shape in black it also has a batman logo on the chest part which is yellow and black. The suit has to be stepped into then fastened at the back by one single Velcro piece. After fastening there is a big part at the back left open. The belt is to be placed around the waist and can easily be tied at the back of the costume this helps the costume be tied in a bit in case it is a bit big. The cape and the head piece is actually one part, you basically put it over the head and the mask is in place with the cape behind it which I think is a very good idea since there is no risk of the mask part falling or blowing off. The mask part looks very good although the ears seem to be sticking out at the sides instead of up but it's noting a stitch won't fix. The cape itself is rather long so you have to be careful when using to avoid tripping up. Luckily once the cape is on all the tied sections are concealed and the costume looks fab. This costume is rather thin so layers underneath would be needed if using this outdoors. As I mentioned before this costume was purchased for a Halloween party however my daughter has been wearing it as she thinks it is fab and I must admit it definitely looks the part and I consider it to be well worth the money.

          see review xx

I purchased this suit from George at Asda; I paid £15 for it quite a while ago now. My son loves it but I did find it a waste of money. I will tell you why later on in the review. The suit is mainly grey; with half of each arm that has black, and also the bottom of the legs is also black material. The middle section also has a black in the shape of underpants. Round the waist you have a yellow belt, this is attached to the costume, one side is sewn on, and the other side is attached with Velcro, this is to try and make it easier when you are taking the suit off and putting it on etc. The suit is padded on the arms and chest. Maybe they should have put padding on the knees also, because my son zooms round the house when he has this on and always falls over loll. Also on the chest is a big yellow oval shape with the picture of the batman symbol on. The suit comes complete with a face mask, with an attached cape, my son never wore it much as he does not like things covering his face loll, and this has now been lost, although he did sometimes just put it round him and lift the mask up onto his head just so he could wear the cape. The suit is made of 100% polyester, and does state on the label sponge wash only. I would really stick to that rule as my husband did not, and put it in the washer loll. It did not ruin the material, but it did ruin the batman symbol on the front, which is now fading away in places. Never trust a man to do the washing loll. The suit is still used by my son, but it is slightly damaged now. The suit is fastened from the back using several Velcro strips. I am forever having my son coming up asking me to refasten his suit as it is coming undone, and as its at the back of the suit, someone else has to fasten the suit for them so maybe a zip would have been a lot better. The one thing I hate about the Velcro is that if the suit is not hung up on a coat hanger after, come on how many kids would do this loll. Then the Velcro sticks to the material on the suit. I have had this happen several times, and when you pull the Velcro off the suit it does damage the material. The material looks as if a cat has had its claws at it where the Velcro has stuck onto it. Now to whether I would recommend the suit. From a child's point of view, yes because my son loves this suit and charges round the house for ages thinking he's batman, in that respect it was worth the money. From adults point of view then no, as the suit is easily damaged, and the Velcro fastening is a real pain. If this as a zip fastening outfit then it would be a lot better. Also on cia under kineticspade x
