There may be parents of tots who'd fancy the possibility of having telescopic ones so that they can fold them and put them away in their shopping bags when they're too nerve-wracking in front of the supermarket till, for example; alas, this review offers no consolation for them. The German word for tot is Knirps which is also the brand name of the best known telescopic umbrella in this country and the topic of my review. Considering that it has always rained and that the sun has always shone since human beings have lived on this planet it's surprising that they didn't invent the umbrella as we know it much earlier.
