****What it took for me to realise glasses are required**** Before I started road cycling I always thought that glasses were worn to show the 'right' image and for vanity purposes. One evening late last summer I was out on a training ride and after struggling up the steepest hill in a local village (yes - we do have some steep hills in the predominantly flat county of Norfolk) I was looking forward to the descent.
