Oakley Eye Jacket

The first pair of "expensive" sunglasses that I bought were Oakley Eye Jackets. I had had several pairs of cheap glasses <£10.00 but thought it time to get a decent pair. I bought a pair of Oakley Eye Jackets with blue frames and a multi couloured tinted lense. There were several good things about these glasses but one of the best is their excellent use for driving. Oakley Eye Jackets are wrap around glasses and completely enclose your eyes so that no unfiltered light gets through. I have found this to be very usefull on those summer drives. I'm currently on my second pair of Eyejackets after my first pair snapped on the earsock joint on BOTH arms. I spoke to Oakley's customer service dept and was told that since my pair were out of warranty, they wouldn't replace the arms free of charge. So, why did I buy another pair? Because they're the best glasses I've owned! The only gripe I have (apart from the fault on the arms) is that they do sit very close to your face and your eyelashes may touch the inside of the lens. For a bottom of the range pair of sunglasses these eyejackets are da bomb. From a manufacturer like Oakley you can't expect anything but quality but these are also great value. I bought mine for only £50 because the centre logo was scratched, a saving of £20. These shades give great UV protection and also protect against harmful blue light. Although Oakley do make a lot of stuff up about their sunnies (in the owners leaflet it says the lenses are blasted with 12 microns of iridium) they actually are really good quality.
