I remember the first time I saw a Radley bag, my friend has received one for her birthday and straight away I was hooked. That was about 5 years ago and back then, times were hard and I couldn't even afford a Radley carrier bag, let alone anything else!

Over the years my obsession with Radley continued then finally about 2 years ago my partner bought me a Radley bag as a surprise. I nearly cried. It was the most beautiful bag I'd ever seen, it was part "wicker," part pink leather, with beige stitching running through it. It had the trademark Radley tag, a cute little pink one with a beige strap. It had lots of little pockets inside and also had a chain for my keys, which was very useful because it's quite a deep bag and it would take me ages to find my keys at the bottom!

My next Radley gift was a gorgeous pink purse; it had a zip compartment split into two for coins and opened up to reveal 10 sections for cards plus two sections at the back for notes. It matched my handbag perfectly.

I thought to myself, I now have a bag and purse that match, I need something else. It's quite wet where I live so I thought an umbrella would be a wise investment. My Mother thought it was foolish to pay over £20 for an umbrella but this wasn't just an umbrella, this was a RADLEY umbrella that matched my bag and purse.

I have always found Radley to be such amazing quality; the leather smells so expensive and intoxicating.

My next Radley treasure was a beautiful keyring my partner bought me; it was a mini pink handbag that actually opened, too cute!

When Radley ran their fantastic promotion with BHF (donate any old bag and receive £40 off a Radley bag) I thought I HAVE got to get a new bag. I asked my Dad to contribute for my birthday and I paid the rest. I was a little bit nervous about going to the Radley shop; all the previous times I had been in I have felt that they look down their nose at me, like I'm not good enough to be in there. But I thought, I am too excited about this to let them intimidate me! As it happens, the two girls working that day were lovely and very patient with me!

It took me a long time to choose a bag. I had to pick them up, put them over my shoulder, walk about with them etc. My partner couldn't understand why it was taking me so long to choose a bag, but then he's a man, therefore will never understand. I finally settled on one, it was so lovely, soft cream leather with pink stitching running through it. It was quite a large bag, much bigger than my other one. It had three compartments, the middle one zipped. It also has smaller compartments on either side and a zipped pocket on the outside, altogether it has 8 different compartments, which is great, until you forget which one you've put your keys in!

My next Radley purchase is going to be a small handbag to take with me when I go out dancing. I think that may have to wait a while though.

If you're thinking of buying a Radley bag, I would say go for it. The quality is outstanding, the attention to detail brilliant and the bags are practical yet beautiful.
