Advantages: wonderful quality, last really well, timeless designs
Disadvantages: can be expensive initially, although the shelf life of the products is long
I was in love with this brand long before I owned any of their products. At 13 I used to love going to the department in Debenhams, and just looking at the bags, the leather was so soft, and I always told myself that once I was working I'd buy one.
Needless to say, at 16, when I got my first real part time job, I went out on pay day, and bought one of their classic style bags in chocolate brown. Five years on, that bag is still in excellent condition and looks brand new, despite having had considerable use over the years.
Radley specialise in high quality bags, and other fashion accessories, such as wallets, umbrellas and passport holders, and are recognisable by the little scottie dog logo, that is often in the form of a dog tag on the bags. Most of their products are made from well treated leather.
All Radley bags come with a drawstring bag inside the actual bag that you can store the product in when it's not in use. This prevents the leather from getting scratched. They also give you some moisturising cream that you work into the leather to stop it from drying out. This really does work, and gives the bags a long shelf life, making them really quite good value.
Radley bags are available in most department stores, and sometimes in their own independant shops. The prices range from £15ish for accessories, to aroung £200 for some of the more expensive bags. The tiniest bags tend to start at around £50, with most being priced between £100 and £150.
I would highly recommend this brand to anyone who loves luxury accessories, and high quality leather products.
Summary: excellent quality accessories, ideal for any woman
