Lascana Pack of 3 Hipster Shorts
by xxfoxyredxx
Every fews months I completely revamp my underwear drawer. I usually buy lots and lots of my underwear from supermarkets but then 'top up' from the catalogue for more quality undies as I can spread the cost of my purchases.
I spotted these from the Lascana range in my Freemans catalogue not so long back and at £20.00 for three ... pairs of hipster shorts (something I haven't owned before) I decided to take a look at them!
The Shorts:
These come in 3 packs and the colour options are 3 multi (white, light pink and black), 3 white and 3 black pairs...me loving black undies as I do went for the black option.
In sizes 6/8, 10/12, 14/16 and 18/20 these are made from stretchy cotton and5% Elastane. These are smooth, lightweight and sit on the hips and size wise I think these are the upper size stated so in my case I had to order the 10/12 size and I am usually a size 10 and these are definetly a wee big bigger than I'm used to but saying that they are surprisingly comfortable and no baggy or anything adverse.
The main of the short is soft and plain, they come to quite below the belly button and have a slightly elasticated waist with a small same coloured bow as the pants attached to it. Around the stretchy legholes soft lace goes all around them to finishe them off nicely and thats it really!
Lovely, soft and easy to wear hipsters these are. I wash and wear mine often and have had no problems with them fading or them going out of shape or anything like that and they are tumble drier safe too. I think these are really lovely, plain and comfortable shorts!

Lascana Short Style Beach Dress
by xxfoxyredxx
Knowing I am going to my parents for Easter with my boyfriend to stay for a few days I went into orbit a couple of weeks back wondering what the hell I own to wear that they will approve of. I really don't want the time taken up with them nagging me and making comments about my clothes and although I am 36 years old and don't think I ... dress up one bit outrageously I decided to invest in a few new bits and pieces that I can wear there without my stepfathers dissaproving glances and narky remarks.
This beach dress really stood out to me when I spotted it in the Freemans catalogue (and on freemans.com) as I just thought that although it has a reserved appearance to it, it still looks feminine and can be dressed up or down depending on your mood.
Made from 100% viscose this is available in Aubergine, Berry, Black and Brown colour options and in sizes 8-18 and fully machine washable and suitable for tumble drying.
Smooth material in appearance this has a superbly flattering, slightly flared waist to it and on my 5.8 frame comes to just above my knee, it has a ruched v shaped neckline which isn't too plunged, large thick straps (that can help conceal an bra strap) and is squared off to the back of it and plain in appearance there.
Very swishy and not too see-through this reallyy is a very feminine dress indeed. I love the subtle plunge it has to the front of it helping enhance what God gave us without being too much and love the length and like I said earlier this really is a dress you can wear in daytimes or dress up for evening wear.
At £30.00 a dress at the moment instead of the usual price of £40.00 (for a limited time only) I purchased this in the Aubergine colour but am thinking of ordering more of them to actually wear on the beach as I live by it providing the weather is nice of course!

Lascana Denim Shorts
by xxfoxyredxx
Often I clear out my two underwear drawers in my bedroom. Sounds daft but soon myself and my partner are going to visit my parents for Easter and for some reason I convinced myself that I needed new underwear to take with me so I had a good chuck out!
I often browse online at Freemans.com and also have the paper catalogue in ... my possesion. I buy the majority of my undies in supermarkets really in with my weekly shop but when looking for a pair of cream briefs I couldn't find any of my local stores so I turned to Freemans and thats when I ordered these as I just loved the look of them!
These come in two colours which are a darkish blue and a black colour, I opted for these in the blue option!
Shorts in design, these are made from 60% Viscose, 35% Polyester, 5% Elastane and they are fully machine washable and tumble drier safe. Available in sizes 6/8, 10/12, 14/16 and 18/20 these are rather stretchy shorts and although look like denim to the eye they are really soft and do feel like a second skin when on, in fact they are really cosy and comfortable on!
The shorts are midi in style and meant to be worn as underwear though look like teeny weeny outer shorts though a little on the skimpy side unless your name is Jordan or Jodie!
The shorts however are not see-through, have a small integrated gusset to the inside crotch area of them and a light orangy coloured stitching to the top of them and to the bottom of the leg holes and that pattern goes down the back of them into a small v shape which is referred to as a saddle back design. They have a small light blue well sewn on button to the centre middle of the shorts and that is basically it.
I wash and wear mine really often and have absolutely no issues with fading or stretching or anything adverse at all and in fact these are extremely easy to care for! They, like I said earlier do have a slight give in them, do not roll down and the leg holes are large enough not to dig into the skin.
I love my pair, will be ordering the black ones soon and I think that at £14.00 a pair, for the quality you get they are not a bad buy at all.
Available from Freemans though Google the Lascana brand online if interested. Read the complete review |
