Ladies Charcoal Cherry Coke Kiss Foil T-Shirt
by suziedre I absolutely love Truffle Shuffle and own quite a few t-shirts from that website. I actually try not to go onto it too often as I always see something that I want when I do. However when I saw this particular t-shirt in a magazine, I had to go straight online and buy it. THE T-SHIRT I am a big fan of all the 70s/80s ... retro tees that have been around for the past couple of years, and this is one of my favourite of the whole bunch. This t-shirt is made from 100% cotton and this particular one is a charcoal grey colour. Personally I would prefer black but I suppose charcoal is about as close as you're going to get. On the front is the words 'cherry coke' with the 'o' in the word 'coke' being formed out of some cherries. Underneath is written 'enjoy the taste of the 80s'. It looks very retro which I love, as I really like the whole 80s look. The bottom of the t-shirt features a pair of lips which are red foil - very striking and pretty. WEAR AND TEAR I have mostly worn this with blue bootcut jeans and Converse, for example when I'm out shopping or going somewhere casual like the cinema. I have also worn it with black skinnies, heels and a biker jacket. This t-shirt is also perfect for just lounging around the house, or even for the gym. I find that the sleeves are cut quite short, as is the t-shirt itself. I like t-shirts to come down past my waist a little more in order to cover the top of my bum and stomach, and this just stops at the waist. That would be my only complaint about the way the t-shirt is cut, though. Because it is cotton, it feels soft to wear, and the skinny fit is flattering. The t-shirt has remained in pretty much the same condition I bought it in. The grey colour has not faded, it has not stretched or ripped in the wash, and most importantly, I haven't found that the foil logo on the front has been damaged in any way through general wear and tear or washing. PRICE & AVAILABILITY This costs £21.99 and can be purchased from www.truffleshuffle.co.uk. I think that is a very reasonable price given that you probably won't see anyone else wearing this when you're out and about. This comes in pink as well - and I have to confess I also have the pink version, although not being a girly girl, I think I look ridiculous in the pink one and so haven't gotten much wear out of it. There is also a lighter grey available, and a grey sweatshirt featuring the same logo. Sizes available are XS, S, M, L and XL. I have noticed that some sizes sell out quickly but Truffle Shuffle seems to replenish its stock often. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? I would definitely recommend this t-shirt, as it's comfortable, can be worn with various outfits, looks cute, and is not too expensive. Truffle Shuffle Ladies Take Over Pinky and The Brain T-Shirt
by xxSalzxx Truffle Shuffle used to be one of those sites thats Id always browse on but for some reason never buy anything from - just like Boohoo used to be. But when I took the plunge and decided to buy my first T.S shirt I decided to make it one of my regular sites and it is now one that I buy from all the time - the shirts are SO cute and retro ... and the quality is always amazing so why shouldnt I spend a large bulk of my wages on there - anything to justify spending right? Anyway the latest top to catch my eye was this 'Truffle Shuffle Pinky & The Brain T-Shirt' simply because I used to LOVE Pinky & The Brain when I was a kid. I always hoped that one day they would be able to take over the world so I thought Id help them in their quest by buying this t-shirt - Ill always be a kid at heart and P&TB definitely reminds me of being a kid. Useful Information: Price: £19.99 + 1.95 P&P Stockists: truffleshuffle.co.uk Sizes: Available in Small, Medium, Large & Extra Large. Other Info: This has lettering on both the front and the back so when washing this I recommend doing so on a low setting and with the top inside out - that will ensure the lettering doesnt peel off or fade. This top is made from 100% cotton so it should feel lovely and soft against your skin - and its sure to raise a giggle from anyone who remembers the TV show. *The sizing on Truffle Shuffle always depends on the piece of clothing as they have a special guide for each piece - FOLLOW THE GUIDE! I always have and the clothes have always fit me perfectly so they do know what they are talking about. For example - I was told that women who are a 8-10 dress size like I am should opt for the Medium size so I did and this fits like a dream. Always follow the guide in my opinion - for me its never been wrong!* As with buying anything online you want to know whether it looks as good in real life and in my opinion this one actually looks better - so what you see isnt as good as what you get which is brilliant! The t-shirt is medium navy colour all over which is ever so slightly faded to add to the design - it doesnt make it look old though its distressed enough to make it look casual and comfy without looking like youve washed it too many times. The faded look actually makes the design look much better in my opinion so the longer you own this the better it will look - that hardly ever happens with any clothes! The fit of this on me is brilliant as it is tight in some places but baggy enough to still feel comfortable and casual - which is the whole reason I bought it. The sleeves go down about mid way between my elbow and shoulder and they are quite fitted but you still have enough wiggle room and no hunched over feeling. The neck is rounded so it comes up a little higher than most tops I wear but its nice to cover up a little bit sometimes and the bottom is long enough to cover you stomach without riding up and just sits nicely over the waistband of my jeans - the perfect fit for me really so Im glad I followed T.S's size guide. On the front on the shirt is the main image of Pinky - looking as gormless as ever - and Brain plotting how to take over the world as they always were in the show. Also on the front in pink cartoon type lettering is the words 'Gee, Brain. What Are We Going To Do Tonight?' which if you watched the show you will know is something Pinky said quite regularly - once an episode in fact so if you were a 90's kid you will definitely remember the phrase and Brain's answer which is printed on the back. In the same lettering on the back of the shirt you will find Brain's reply of 'The Same Thing We Do Every Night: Try To Take Over The World!' Now when I bought this I didnt realise it had that quote on the back so when I got it I was very impressed - it made the top even cuter in my opinion and brings back some very fond childhood memories of watching P&TB after I finished school, wondering whether today would be the day that they finally took over the world! The image and lettering are both in white & pink which means it stands out from the black shirt really well and is instantly noticable. Now some tops Ive bought with words/images on them like this one have ended up peeling off after a few washes so they arent really wearable anymore but I havent had that problem with this one so far. The words and image are sitll as they were when I bought this - around 2 months ago - and Ive worn and washed this loads since then so I cant see it peeling or falling off anytime soon. The design and fit of this short are gorgeous I think and Im so glad I found this one! The quality seems very good to me so far as it hasnt faded any more than it was at first and the image/words are still intact so Im very happy so far! As the colours on this shirt are very neutral it means it can be worn with any style of clothing and pretty much any colour - Ive been wearing this with loads of stuff since I bought it. I prefer to wear this on a more casual day with jeans and a leather jacket as I think it suits that style best but I dont see any reason why this couldnt be worn with heels on a night out - it is better for casual days but it can be dressed up a little bit if you wanted to wear this out at night. Its a very versatile shirt which I have to say I wasnt expecting when I bought it - I thought Id only be wearing this in the daytime so Ive been quiet shocked. And Ive been having so many nice comments on this since Ive been wearing it - everyone just loves Pinky & The Brain they were just fab LOL. I highly recommend this t-shirt to anyone because the design and fit of this are amazing. Fans of the TV show will love the image and quotes on this top - Im so happy I bought this and I ope it lasts me a very long time to come - highly recommended. Truffle Shuffle Ladies Page Tea Girl T-Shirt
by xxSalzxx For ages I never bought anything from Truffle Shuffle. Id browse the site all the time and always see it in the celeb mags - a lot of celebrities buy the clothes of this site so I reckon most people will have heard of it. But as always once I started buying their clothes I just couldnt stop - there were so many I liked and the tops are ... always amazing quality so I just keep buying more - who doesnt want to dress like the rich and famous but on a budget? This 'Good Times Page Tea Girl Top' was my latest purchase from the site which I bought around a month ago simply because as soon as I saw it I fell in love. This top is so quirky and retro that I had to own it - and I cannot recommend it highly enough to others! Useful Information: Price: £20 + P&P Stockists: ONLY available from truffleshuffle.co.uk - their clothes are only available online and as far as Im aware they arent sold in any stores. Sizes: Available in Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large & Extra Large - so everyone will find a size to fit them in this design. Other Info: This top has been 'papped' on Danielle Lloyd & Sam Faiers - if your interested! It is made from lightweight 100% cotton, is pre-shrunk for a fitted feel and is suitable for machine washing - although I recommend only washing it on a low setting to ensure no fading/peeling of the words/image. *Truffle Shuffle have their own size guide for each garment eg. in the case of this top I was told that women who are size 8-10 should buy a Small so thats what I did and it does fit like a dream - I definitely recommend following their size guide as they do know what their talking about.* When buying online you want to make sure what you see on screen is what you get in real life - thankfully this shirt looks just as good if not better in real life so what you see is 100% what you get! The main body of this t-shirt is a pale pink colour - very girly and something that attracted me to this instantly. The colour isnt faded at all but for some reason this just looks comfortable - thankfully it actually is - but it does look very comfy and the exact type of top I was looking for, for a casual day out shopping. The cotton material looks very high quality and feels very soft against my skin - although because the material is so soft and fluffy I can only say wash and iron it on a very low setting because I reckon damage would be cause to the material and design otherwise - although thats not a big disadvantage in my opinion, its just worth mentioning. The fit of this on me is brilliant as it is tight in some places but baggy enough to still feel comfortable and casual - which is the whole reason I bought it. When I read that this was pre-shrunk I had a bad feeling it wouldnt be long enough on my waist - I cant stand tops that ride up too much - but I havent had a problem with this one as yet so fit and sizing wise Im very impressed. On the front of the t-shirt is an image of the Tetley Tea girl - who Ive just read is called Tina. Tina is your average 'Page Tea Girl' in her comfy cardy and big slippers and there are a few small teacups and stars in whte dotted around the shirt which adds to the cute design. The words 'Page Tea Girl' - do you get it? Are written next to Tina in black and red writing which stands out from the pale top loads so the words and image are very noticable. The design is so cute in my opinion and the words certainly made me giggle first time I saw this and I think it will appeal to many people - its super cute in my opinion! Not just for celebs after all! The colours on this shirt are quite neutral so that means this can be matched with most styles and colours - its matched with everything Ive worn it with so far anyway. Id say this shirt is certainly more suited to casual wear because it is so comfy and wearable and I think on a night out I want something a bit sexier rather than cute like this one but that is by no means a bad thing. I bought this for casual wear so Im happy that it suits me for that purpose but its maybe not as versatile as some other tops that T.S offer - not a problem for me but it might be for others. I nice pair of skinny jeans and flats are the perfect partners for this t-shirt in my opinion. It will suit any age in my opinion and just simply perfect for everyday wear - Ive been wearing this LOADS since I bought it, its one of my favourite pieces of clothing and I do own a fair bit! I cannot recommend this highly enough for people who just fall in love with the design like I did or people who just want to celebrate Britains favourite drink - tea in case you hadnt guessed hehe!
