Avon 101 Way Bra
by purplekimmy
I saw this bra originally in the Avon book but decided against buying one; I had many bras and didn't really need another one. Recently I have been on the hunt for another bra and although I do not usually buy underwear off the internet, I saw this on eBay and just had to get one. I got one black and one white one, they were £10 each ... which is a reasonable price for a bra.
The bra itself is an ordinary three clip bra, nothing amazing really, under wired and with removable straps. It is slightly padded but not enough to give you added cleavage or any fuller chest area. The good part about this is the added clip parts along the inside of the bra, these are all around the inside which allow you to move the straps to suit whatever item of clothing you are wearing. You can remove them altogether and go for strapless or just use one or use both but in non-symmetrical ways. Although the idea is total genius, the practical doesn't quite live up to what it could be, because you can take the straps off, if you have done this a lot, the loops can stretch a little which allows the straps to come away, whenever they want to, rather than whenever you want them too. The bra itself has lasted the test of time and is still in good condition, the straps and loops however not so well. The loops have stretched and a couple have broken. The stitching has given up too, it still works as strapless bras though. Both the black and white bra colours are good and the black hasn't faded at all.
It is still a good idea and I would say if you don't intend to change it regularly, it's a very good bra indeed. For regular changing, be ready for it to let you down a bit. Read the complete review |

Asda George 2 Pack Star Frill Thongs
by passionate88
I bought this 2 pack of thongs from Asda a while ago when I was in need of throwing away old pants and buying some new ones. I paid £2.50 for the pack of 2 thongs. One of the thongs is a light blue colour with a simple pink bow at the top- nice and simple. The other thong is a little pink colour with different colour stars all over it ... with a simple light blue bow at the top.
They are made of 95% Nylon and 5% Elastane. The thongs can be washed at 40 degrees, but they cannot be put in the tumble dryer or ironed. I have worn these thongs over and over again and they are extremely comfortable. There are no issues with chaffing like some thongs due to the material they are made out of being soft and gentle against the skin.
With wearing them over and over again, the only problem I have had is when they have been repeatedly washed, tiny elastic threads have started to appear all over the thongs from the Elastane. You do not get this problem with thongs made out of 100% cotton. Therefore the thongs have started to look a bit tatty so I will need some more when they look very weathered.
I was happy with the price I paid for the thongs, as I have had a lot of use out of them. And despite the elastic threads appearing on the thongs, they were a good buy. Read the complete review |

Bravissimo Underwear in general
by Jenkatclaire
As a 20 year old woman, I have been dreading having my entire adulthood in beige, black and white bras that look like they belong on my grandma! Bravissimo gives me the opportunity to wear underwear that I actually like, in brilliant colours and patterns (though still somewhat limited at a 34JJ).
However, I do find that the bras ... have a sizing discrepency and so I'd recommend getting a fitting each time before buying and I've found some of mine are a lot bigger than others despite being "the same size". This makes it more difficult to enjoy the service as the stores are not widely spread enough over the country. The online service however, is very good and offers a good returns policy though postage is not free, so it can end up quite expensive if you do not know your size!
I also enjoy the range of products on offer - I have never felt comfortable in a swimming costume until I found one that was actually supportive so now I can enjoy swimming again! Read the complete review |
