Advantages: Very stylish clothes, great range and good quality,

Disadvantages: It is expensive, especially the delivery on the website!

I intially came across Abercormbie and Fitch when in America on holiday a few years ago and have to admit was very impressed with both the quality and the style of the clothing. It is an American clothing brand that was created in 1892 and all of the clothes have a very stylish 'Moose' motif on them. Abercormbie and Fitch also is the owner of four other clothing brands, including the very popular Hollister. It now has over 350 stores worldwide making a global brand and it has more recently aquired mass popularity in the United Kingdom as I am sure you will be aware. Abercormbie is a casual lifestyle, luxury brand that is exlcusive in many ways because of its prices, it has a very stereotypical 'Preppy' figure about it.

The one thing that I really don't like about Abercormbie and Fitch is that when you go to buy something on the website you have to add a ridiculous £25 delivery charge because it comes all the way from America. This is very annoying because not only are the clothes expensive already adding a £25 delivery charge is far too much and I'm sure will put many people like m off buying it from the website. When I was in America most recently I noticed how much cheaper the clothes are and it does really frustrate me to think how much money I have wasted by buying it from the UK. Alas there is the option of buying it from Ebay which I have done many times. You'll find that many people buy all of their clothes from America and then sell it at a reduced cost on Ebay when they are back in the UK, which works out well for both sides!

I was shocked to see an Abercrombie store in New Yok will a huge line outside the front door! The clothing lines are based for youthful adults and the like. I think that the style of clothing available is very appealing and above all is very comfortable. They also deal a great deal in accessories such as the 'Leather treads' which will cost you £50 but I can assure you that they truly are a great pair of flip-flops! It is an expensive store but given its mass popularity in recent years I think it is justifiable. I really have been pleased with the level of service that I have recieved from them in the past and have thought the quality is superb.

Overall I really think this is a great clothing and fashion brand that really does deliver top quality clothes and designs. I know it is frustrating to be paying much more than people do in America but I suppose we are paying for the privelage of having it at all in our country. There is one or two stores in London available so I would definately recommend taking a look. I would personally recommend however from my experiences, shopping on Ebay because some very good deals may be found. Just be careful that you are getting a genuine pair instead of a counterfeit pair, the price should give you a fair indication.
