Advantages: Good quality clothing and the store overall has it's own unique style.

Disadvantages: Expensive

I first went to Abercrombie and Fitch when I was in America, but I have since been to the store in London. I agree with other peoples reviews in that it is a strange shop. Inside I couldn't help but feeling that I was in a club but as it's target market is pretty much students, and being a student myself, I see this is a good USP for the company. Despite finding it a bit weird and possible slightly degrading for men as a man is paid to stand at the entrance, shirtless and get his picture taken with people, I do like the store. It has a very strange atmosphere which I find I really enjoy as it's just such a change from every other shop I've ever been into.
In terms of their clothes, I love them. They're high quality, comfortable, they fit well and have their own style about them. In the past I have bought vest tops jeans and a fleecy jumper. In general I was pleased with all of the products I bought although I probably wouldn't buy jeans from there again. I've also found in the stores that generally the staff are extremely helpful and do a good job at keeping the store organised and tidy, despite everything being kept in piles which people rummage through only to pull out something they don't want.
I'll continue to shop at Abercrombie when I can as I like the 'Abercrombie look' but I do think that the alot of the items are quite expensive, which would be the main downfall of the store.

Summary: Generally a very good store, but alot of items are probably more then some people are willing to pay
