Disadvantages: pricey, sexist?,

Agent Provocateur is a World famous lingerie company, who once got the lovely Kylie to ride a mechanical bull in only her bra and pants for the delectation of, you guessed it, a male audience!

I find that Agent Provocateur's advertising is not selling underwear but indeed is selling sex. I am no prude, but I feel the website, the ads etc are appealing not to the ones who shall be wearing this clobber, but for men, who would like their wives/girlfriends/lovers to be a little more exciting!

I don't find this way of branding offensive, but I do find it a little bit of a turn off. When I buy underwear I want to be buying into a sort of fantasy where I feel great, look great all by purchacing a bra and knickers! To feel like a princess perhaps, and not like some sort of taylor's dummy.

The whole idea of feeling sexy is to be independent and surprise our other halfs..If I were to be bought a set from AP I would be a little embarrassed and wonder if I am a bit of a cold fish in the sack!

For example if you check out their website now:www.agentprovocateur.com
you will see a photograph of two ladies in their bra and pants eating from the same vine of grapes. Now, come on girls, is this really suppost to attract us?!

Okay, enough with the complaining; let's dig a little deeper into the garments (so to speak!).

Diving into their new collection I am choosing the 'Angahrad' range: A simple bra (underwired, no padding for comfort, ouch!) will set you back £65. The matching thong £35, and the little extras like suspenders £45 with the hold ups £18. To do the simple math, that's £163 for a set. Woowee!

I know you pay more for less when it comes to underwear, but I feel this is just silly!

Summary: Less definitely isn't more here..

Hi, sorry for the lower rating, but you don't really talk much about the actual underwear - is it comfy, well designed, good range, good quality, etc?
