“ Brand: All Saints / Type: Top „
I have recently become a huge fan of All Saints, having always previously avoided them due to the OTT prices of their clothes. However, I came across this under a lovely tweed waistcoat in the All Saints concession within Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
The material is lovely and soft to touch. All Saints claim on their website that it is 100% cotton. The sleeves are long, making it a perfect addition to both a winter wardrobe or a slightly chilly summers day. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the material keeps the heat in and feels snug while you wear it. It has a rounded neck that sits quite low (but not too low!) so the look can be completed with a necklace or accessory so your chest isn't left looking bare. It comes in a vast array of sizes and their website seems to have sizes 6-14. I bought a size 10 and I am quite tall but the sleeve length is perfect for me and not too short at all. All Saints stock it at £35.00 which I first thought was a lot until I tried it on, then the quality really shines through.
This is an extremely versatile piece of clothing as it is warm, but thin in terms of the material itself. I was so pleased with it that I bought one in every colour as they also do oatmeal, brown and black. I have worn them so much over the winter either under a waistcoat or cardigan, or even on their own. As they are quite plain in terms of design, they can be worn with almost anything and also can be casual or dressed up for more of an evening look.
I have washed each top a number of times and I have found they come out really well, still feeling soft. Despite how much I have won them, they still look new and aren't showing any signs of fraying or holes in any places. Although this s what you would expect anyway, it's nice too know that you're getting a high quality product for the price.
The tops are extremely comfortable and they fit quite snuggly so for me, they make me look good in all the right places! Also the colours are quite slimming so you can have some added confidence while wearing them :-)
All in all, I would highly recommend you to go and try these tops on in an All Saints store or order one online as I doubt you'll be disappointed! You can get a lot of wear out of them, making it slightly easier to justify the price tag and it is the sort of item you can wear year and year, still looking amazing, and without it going out of fashion. Without a doubt, 5 Dooyoo stars from me, I'm just hoping they bring out more colours!
