Like many woman, I regularly wear leggings as you can wear them with almost anything such as jumpers and different tops. You can wear them during the day or out in the evening and dress them up by wearing a pair of heels or boots. I love wearing my leggings on different occasions, how-ever sometimes I find it hard to find descent quality leggings. I previously purchased some leggings from my local H & M store and they seemed quite thin. I wore them a few times and after washing them twice they became even thinner and were quite see-though. In fact you could see what coloured knickers I had on underneath them and if they had a pattern/design on them or not. Although I have noticed a lot of girls in my local town wearing very see through leggings showing their little black thongs, this isn't something that I wanted to do which is when I decided to pop to New Look to see what leggings they had available. New Look have a large range of leggings with patterns, different colours and different lengths. I wanted full length black leggings, which is what I ended up buying. The leggings cost £11.99 for a 2 pack of black ankle length leggings. These are available to buy from a size 6 up to a size 18. They can be found in store or you can also buy them online and pay to have them delivered or you can collect them from your local New Look store. The leggings are made from 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane and have an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit.

I'm normally a size 8/10 in bottoms so I went for a size 10 in the leggings. I decided to wear them the following evening with an open backed top and heels as me and my boyfriend were going out for a few drinks. With my previous leggings I found that although they were the correct size, they were tight when trying to pull them over my calves and my knee's, how-ever this may be because I have quite toned legs due to working out. These leggings were easy to put on and I didn't have to pull and tug them over my calves or my thighs, instead they slid on very easily. The leggings fit reasonably well round the waist but do come up a little bit high and catch on my belly button piercing so I do fold the top of these down so they don't catch on it. They certainly felt a comfortable fit when putting them on and looking in the mirror. When wearing the leggings during the night they are very comfortable to wear and they stretch with every movement. They aren't see through which is a bonus when I don't happen to wear black knickers! The longer you wear the leggings the looser they become on the legs. I have sometimes put these on for 30mins to walk to the shop and don't feel the need to wash them after this so put them on when I want to wear them again. I found when putting them on the second time they felt a little looser over the knees and around the bum.

The leggings can be machine washed, and left to dry naturally. I find that the leggings wash very well and the colour doesn't seem to fade even though I have washed them 4-5 times already since having them. The leggings have got a little thinner, which is expected after wearing and washing them a few times. How-ever I just make sure I wear black knickers and a long top/jumper and you can't see anything! In terms of value I think the leggings are fantastic value as you get 2 pairs in one pack and quite often other shops will charge £11.99 for just one pair of leggings. These are long lasting, comfortable to wear and have a nice thickness to them; how-ever they aren't too thick to wear in the summer with a pair of flip flops of open toed shoes. If like me you like wearing leggings, but worry about them being see through then these one's are perfect. I have to give the leggings 5 out of 5 stars for good quality and also a very good price.
