Advantages: Quite sexy
Disadvantages: Expensive for what they are, bad fit if you've got larger breasts, "tarty" designs
I don't like Ann Summers bras really because they are a bit tarty. That's no great surprise, but I also find that they don't it particularly well. I won't dwell on the styles available, but all I will say is that they are fairly tasteless, especially if you have, erm, bigger breasts because there is a smaller range available and it isn't the sexiest of the bunch, what a surprise.... As for the fit, well, I'm told that if you're a 32B for instance, you can get away with a 34B or even a 32C because the sizes are quite small, but like many makes of bra, this theme goes to pot as you go up in size. I'm a 34D in every other shop apart from Ann Summers in which I've been unable to find one that fits and is comfy. I tried a 34D in a black velvet padded plunge bra, and it was just terrible. Firstly, it was quite tight around my chest, and secondly, it was baggy at the "cleavage", leading to not-so-alluring cleavage in all honesty. So I tried a few other sizes, like a 36D, which was not tight, but still baggy, if not more so.....a 34E which was really tight and majorly baggy due to lack of breasts on my part....all in all, not appropriate or sexy. Having said that, friends with smaller boobs have no problems with these bras, although the sizes are quite small. Also, Ann Summers isn't cheap, and at about 20-25 quid for a bra, I really wouldn't recommend them. It's a shame because it is kind of sexy to have Ann Summers undies, but personally, I'd go elsewhere, especially if you've got larger breasts. Sorry to disappoint!

- 13/03/03 It puzzles me why you tried on a bigger cup size if the one u tried originally was baggy! That indicates you need a smaller cup size and a bigger underband (if it was tight like you said), so I guess 36C instead of 34D.
Mind you, the cup gets bigger/broader as the underband goes up....its all too complicated.
Any one with C/D cups should try having big boobs and see if you can find any to fit you then! You'll wonder what you ever complained about believe me... |

- 11/07/01 Maybe it would have been more helpful to go up a size for your back (36) and down a size for the cup (b). I know I have to when I buy anything for Anne Summers.
I'm a 36d and the back is usually ok but the cup is to big so I buy a c cup instead. Hope this is helpful.
