You've let me down Ann Summers (Ann Summers Underwear in general)

After realising that my review was a little short I have decided to add a little more information so that you can more easily make up your own mind about Ann Summers products.

I am only talking about one product that I bought which did not satisfy me, maybe its just this one product that has flaws, maybe not, but here is my story...

I was at college one day in a city called Carlisle. I had around £10 in my pocket and I thought I would buy my girlfriend some sexy underwear for later on that night. I popped into Ann Summers for a peek at their range of super sexy lingerie.

Unfortunately, £10 does not go very far in Ann Summers let me tell you. The choice I had was very limited (my own fault for having no money although you can buy a few pairs of underwear for £10 at La Senza). I was looking at a number of different coloured thongs each with its own unique style. Pink and fluffy, black and metallic, red with diamonds and a leather thong too. Each thong was set on a dummy bottom. I gazed at each pair and finally decided that the most sexy one to me was the black thong with a metal ring on the back and metal chains on the front.

I picked up the size that I wanted and bought the thong for an exact £10 at the desk.

Now, before I go on I have to say that Ann Summers do have good customer service, I was asked a number of times if I needed help, not too many times so that its annoying but enough for me to realise that they really do want to help you out. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing I can say about the shop itself.

Later on that night I gave the thong to my girlfriend in the original Ann Summers bag that I was given. She changed out of her underwear into the new super sexy underwear I had just bought. To my dismay the metal chains on the front of the underwear snapped within 10 minutes of wearing them. I couldn't believe it, the chains were actually joined to the thong itself using about 3 black threads, these snap easily, 3 threads holding metal chains to a thong. Alrite, maybe its my fault for not looking at the thong correctly, but I'm a guy. I don't really know what to look for, I just go for what I think is sexy.

I can tell you now, I won't be buying many items of clothing from there ever again. I will only buy from there if my girlfriend comes with me. From now on I'm going to shop at La Senza, my girlfriend recommends. She said I could get a few pairs of underwear for a tenner at La Senza and they won't break within 10 minutes.

I'm not taking the underwear back because I've lost the receipt. At least its still a pair of underwear even without the metal chains on the front, but they are just boring black but a little silky which feels nice on the skin.

I didn't come here to write a general opinion about Ann Summers lingerie, I just want to tell you what happened to me and to be careful about the quality of products at Ann Summers.

Great customer service but unfortunately the quality of the products does not match the price you pay for them, far too expensive.
