      Fantastic tights

I recently bought these tights from very.co.uk as I was buying a full outfit from there and needed some black tights to go with it so I just stuck them in my virtual basket and didn't really think about it. I didn't buy them because they were toner tights, I just needed opaque black tights and these looked the best ones on the site. They cost £10 for one pair which I thought was quite expensive but because they're quite thick they should last well.

The first thing I noticed when trying them on the first time was how tight they are. Because they're toner tights they're designed to pull you in and so they're very tight and can take a while to get on, with rather a lot of wriggling and squirming and changing the position of the tights. Even once they're on they take a bit of adjustment to get them feeling right, but once they are on properly they're great!

They come in 3 sizes - s/m, m/l, and xl. I'm a size 10/12 so I went for the s/m size and they're perfect for me.
They are more opaque than they look in the picture, but if you don't get them on right they look more opaque towards the top than the bottom so you do need to make sure you've got them in the right position so that they don't look odd. They look nice on and they're not too shiny so they don't make a big style statement, they're just nice plain black tights. The toner bit at the top is thicker and more black than the legs of the tights and I do find that if I wear them with miniskirts this does come down low enough to be visible, but it's not so obvious that other people would notice it.

They're 60 denier tights which means they're thick enough that you don't feel like you're going to rip or ladder them as you're pulling them up. I have pretty bad nails and I usually catch tights really easily as I'm putting them on but I've not had this problem with these because of the thicker material. They're also nice and warm so perfect for wearing with skirts as the weather gets colder.

Once they're on properly they're actually the most comfortable tights I've ever worn. They feel like they're holding you in and pulling you up in all the right places but without feeling restricting. They don't dig in at the waist like most tights so they give you a perfectly smooth silhouette rather than digging in and creating a bulge above the waistband. With most tights I also find I'm having to pull the crotch back up every 5 minutes as they slip down, but these stay close to my form the whole time I'm wearing them so there's none of that embarrassing and oh-so-flattering rearranging to be done!

I've worn these loads now and I wouldn't be without them, despite them taking a while to get into it's so worth it, they make me feel and look so good when I wear them with short skirts. I'd definitely recommend them!
