Asda Cropped Leggings
Advantages: Great quality, cheap
Disadvantages: Slightly see through
I seem to live in cropped leggings when the weather is slightly warmer and when I spotted these white cropped leggings in my local Asda on sale for only £2 I snapped them up. You can't really go wrong for just £2.
The leggings had a full price of £6 and being from George, are online available to purchase either in store or online. I don't think they are selling them at the moment due to the season but they usually have the same basic leggings on sale every year at the right time.
The leggings come in sizes 8 all the way up to 24 so you are bound to find your size without any problems. They are made from 96% cotton and 4% elastane, I find they have the same material as most of my other leggings and are quite stretchy so that they are easy to put on, then they cling to your legs like all other leggings. The leggings I have are white in colour but they are normally available to purchase in black when the summer season kicks in.
The white colour is nice, I find that it does have a bit of a see through quality about it but it isn't anything major. If you are wearing dark underwear underneath then it's bound to be seen if you are wearing a short top but nothing else is visible under the leggings. I always team leggings with long line tops or short dresses anyway so don't really have to worry that much.
As these are cropped leggings, I find them great to wear in the summer. They look great with flat shoes, flip flops or wedges so they are very versatile. I'm a shortie at only 5ft tall, the leggings do sit quite far down my leg when I've just put them on but I tend to pull them up my legs a little bit so they don't look stupid. When I pull them up I find that the stretchy material does cling to my leg so I don't have to worry about the legs falling back down again!
I wash my leggings on a 40 degree wash and let them air dry, although they are tumble dryer safe I don't know how well they handle this as I don't use mine. I find that they wash really well and the white colour hasn't faded any more than when I first bought them.
I'd definitely recommend these cropped leggings from George. At full price they offer great value for money and on sale they are an absolute steal. They are well made, versatile and keep the good condition after many uses.
Summary: Lovely cropped leggings
