“ Brand: Asda / Type: Underpants / Clothing Class: Underwear „
Like my asda daisy duck shorts, i picked these up in my local asda's bargain bin reduced to just 50p from the original £3.50 price tag which i doubt i'd of paid if i'm honest.
Total bargain and they're adorable! They're short type briefs, but it's easier to just call them knickers as that's what they are. Some people would probably liken them to girl boxers.
The knickers are really good quality; 95% cotton, making them soft to the touch and they're nice and warm. They're also stretchy and adjust to my body shape well as the rest of them is made up of 5% elastane.
The design is gorgeous, the background of the knickers is grey with small pictures of Elmo all over (apart from the waistband), and a big picture of Elmo on the front, arms outstretched looking very cute. Next to elmo there's the word 'Elmo' in large red writing. The waistband is red with 'Elmo' in black writing written continuously around it. The back of the knickers on the bottom says 'Sesame Street' in big red letters, with another picture of elmo.
These knickers have lasted me a while now; around 5 months and i've worn them quite a bit. They've not faded or bobbled from my washing machine and haven't lost there shape.
The knickers are available in sizes 8-20 and i'd thoroughly reccomend them; cute, great quality, comfy and reasonably priced.
Every Christmas my mum buys me pants and socks and she usually manages to choose funky pairs that I love. This Christmas I was thrilled to bits to open a pair of Elmo shorts! I really love everything Elmo and this pair of pants was probably the best pair I have ever received.
The Elmo pants come from George at Asda and cost £3.50 per pair and are classed as shorts rather than knickers. From the front the pants do look like a pair of shorts, however at the back they are more like a standard pair of pants. The shorts are grey and the background design is what I would describe as a comic print, being that of small squares each featuring Elmo. The waistband of the shorts is elasticated, bright red and features the name Elmo written in black capital letters and this is repeated all the way around the band. The front of the shorts sees a large bright picture of Elmo with his arms outstretched with the name next to it in red lettering. The reverse of the shorts sees the words Sesame Street in red lettering with Elmo popping out of the S.
The fabric composition of the shorts are 95% cotton and 5% elastane (excluding the trim), and the shorts are fully washable (as you would expect!!!) and can also be tumble dried. I have previously had shorts from Asda with designs on and have found that after washing the picture can start to crack and stick together which is a great shame.
I have only had these shorts a short time and as yet I have only worn them once and that is due to my past experience with these type of shorts and I am worried about these being spoilt. However, the shorts are extremely comfortable and the fabric is also comfy against the skin.
The shorts are available in sizes 8-20 which is great as many shorts don't have such a range of sizes. You can find these shorts in store or online on which you can either have them delivered or collect in store.
I would recommend the Elmo shorts as they are very comfortable and really well priced!
Every Christmas my Mother buys me pants. Nothing fancy just what she thinks of as sensible....most year I get Sloggis I never wear but never tell her I don't and just bite my lip! However this year I was pleased to be given a batch of pants from Asda from her that I'm all too happy to wear!
These shorts retail at £3.50 a pair and can be found either instore or on www.asdadirect.com and they come in sizes 8-20. I am a size 10 and not only do these fit generously and comfortably but they have plenty of 'give' in them so for bloated days these are ideal!
Made from 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane, (exclusive of trimmings) these are soft and have a sort of jersey feel to them and they are suitable for machine washing and tumble drying too, so easy to care for (like most of Asdas undies are to be fair) is simple.
The design of these pants is great if you like cartoon style pants of course. You get a grey marl coloured pair of shorts with like a black cartoon strip over that and Elmo from Sesame Street smiling back at you in little boxes all over the pants, then to the front of the pants a bright orange coloured Elmo and the word 'Elmo is written there. Again on the back of the shorts Sesame Street is written on in matching large orange letters and then there is an elasticated waistband that is orange in colour (matching the pictures depicted and the writing, so colour co-ordinated they are) with large and bold black lettering on there once again saying Elmo.
Double stitched in most places, gently elasticated to the top of them and with comfy and roomy leg holes these are a full style brief that stay up beautifully (without rolling down) and really comfortably. They have a small gusset within the pants and no matter how much I wash, wear and tumble dry them they have stayed in perfect condition though if you really feel the need to iron these you need to turn them inside out and do so on a very low heat indeed....however me...I just can't be bothered with that malarky lol.
A nice pair of fun pants, great quality and unusual..... I think they are worth every penny my Mum spent on them!
