      A nice buy!

With knowing I was coming away to stay at my parents over the festive period and that nothing was fitting me very well because of a recent weight gain of a few unexpected pounds thanks to my under active thyroid problems I recently treated myself to a few bits and pieces to wear.

When it comes to nightwear I usually buy trusted onesies and I own loads of pjs and the likes but after buying a couple of pairs of pairs of pyjamas in my local Asda store I had not a lot of money left in my purse and I spotted this pretty nightdress costing only a fiver and treated myself to it!

This comes in sizes 8-22 and in my opinion a very true to size nightdress. It is made from 100% polyester with lace trim and 9% Elastane with a satin look to it which is slightly shiny.

In appearance I think this is a very nice looking nightdress. The top part is slightly v shaped with a red bow to the centre of it, the spaghetti straps have small black adjusters to each one to get a good fit and the top of the v neck has a thick black piece of lace attached to the nightdress with it coming up and sitting a bit on the skin nicely allowing a bit of flesh to be seen. The front of the nightdress is made of three large panels which are all attached of course but between those panels there are two small slits each with black lace edging again on the nightdress itself but a little overlapping to the skin and topped off with a small red bow to each. The back isn't made of panels and is plain and the overall nightdress is a jet black in colour with small red flowers, red and gold flowers and just gold flowers with flecks of aqua green acting as leaves pretty much all over it.

This is fully machine washable with items of other dark colours, suitable for tumble drying and its also suitable for ironing providing you iron it inside out and I have done this very often with this nightdress and had no issues with any of that at all I'm pleased to report!

I find the shape of this very flattering on me indeed. The straps are really easy to adjust, its very slightly nipped to the waist and the length on my 5.7ish frame is knee length. Everything doesn't hang out of this one and although it looks quite sassy on me it isn't overtly sexy either!

Overall for £5.00 I think this is a nice nightdress and the only quibble I have with it is the feel of it. In appearance it looks quite classy and like its worth a few quid but if your used to more expensive nightwear then this is going to feel cheap but I for a fiver I'll let that go and say you get what you pay for!

I like it and it gets the thumbs up from me!

      Only available from Asda stores.
