Advantages: Cheap & Last For A While
Disadvantages: Bobble, Stretch & Lose Shape Over Time
These leggings are great! They're available both instore or online and i would really reccomend them.
They're full length and a basic style - they're definetly nothing special and are on the cheap side but at the end of the day who really wants to spend much on a pair of leggings?
Even though they're cheap at £6 a pair, i think they're equally as good quality as my New Look ones which were £9. The only difference in my opinion is that the seems on the George leggings are slightly more prominant, but that's not a huge problem for me.
These leggings are easy to pull on and are very comfy. They're also soft and stretchy (but not overlly stretchy), and the waistband isn't too loose (I sometimes find that the waistband on leggings can be over elasticated). The leggings are 96% cotton and 4% elastane. For the percentage of cotton i think £6 is a very reasonable price!
I find these leggings to be very warm but they're also lightweight and versatile. They can be dressed up or down, and can even be worn as long-johns! I sometimes wear these under jeans when it's cold as the thin material doesn't bulk my legs up but does add lots of warmth.
The leggings are only available in black. The sizes available are: 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, so as you can see they are a must have for women of any shape - they're not the type of clothing that only skinny girls can wear. I am a size 8 and found these fitted well and weren't baggy on my knees or ankles like some leggings can be.
They are machine washable and last well. The only downside is after around 10 washes they start to lose the original shape slightly and the elastic becomes looser, and over time they start to bobble. The other downside is that they attract animal hair - they're like a dog hair magnet!
I have had 3 pairs so far and on average they've lasted me 3-5 months each time, so overall they're not horrendously bad quality!
Overall they don't last for ages but for £6 they're a good buy!
Summary: Good Price
