An ok buy at £2.00 a pair!

When it comes to socks and bedsocks I seem to collect them! My mate bought me these as an early Christmas present and I know they cost her £3.50 as they had the label still on them in case I didn't like or want them however we are now just coming out of Christmas and on the Asda.com website these are now on sale for £2.00 a pair!

Made from 100% Acrylic these have a woolen look and feel to them and are rather thick. They only come in a very light cream colour and when you first get them are wrapped in a white bow which of course you dispose of. They fit feet 4-8 I am a size 5 and they are a little bit big on me to be honest but I can keep them on!

Appearance wise they are plain knit to the soles of them and then around the length of them are cable knit. The toe seam isn't thick, bulky or uncomfortable and the tops of the socks can be folded over if you want to or you can leave them up higher on the leg if you so prefer.

Care wise these are suitable to machine wash at 40c and are tumble dry safe both of these things I do regulary with these and I have had no issues with them bobbling or anthing however I have found them to stretch a bit and become a big more baggy on so for that reason I think that these would be best for us ladies with slightly larger feet rather than my small and very skinny, bony ones!

These are great for me to wear on with my pjs and in bed and so on but are so thick I couldnt wear them with my slippers or nip out with them on say with my boots but I have to say they are comfy to wear, not heavy or itchy and do keep my tootsies warm. At £3.50 a pair I do think that is a little overpriced but at £2.00 quite a little winter warming bargain!
