WHAT ARE THEY?
Slippers that you buy from Asda. They have been sold for many years in leopard print but some years the colours and designs change. This year the slippers are made out of soft jersey fabric and are in colors that are more natural to real leopard print.
The slippers have a back less design that I like and the top of my foot is covered. The sole is padded and thick, the top of the slipper is not so thick but it is padded also.
My leopard print slippers were brought this year and they are natural leopard print colour. There were leopard print slippers that were faint blue when I brought my pair of slippers but they were a different design and not so pleasing for the shape of my foot.
I think these slippers are very comfortable and I have brought over 10 pairs since Asda started to sell them. They stay comfortable for many months and can be washed in the washing machine but the padding goes thinner every time you wash them. I wash most of the pairs of slippers 4 or more times before I throw them away and they do not need to be washed more because I wear them indoor only.
WHAT I THINK
I like these slippers very much and when I know I will need slippers soon I buy a pair with my shopping because I would hate it if I had to buy new slippers and could not go to Asda.
I am happy with how long they last for and how soft the sole is because they are cosy to wear and they give warmth to my feet. They are in size ranges instead of shoe sizes and I have got them in medium because my shoes are size 5.
The price of these slippers is £6 or £8 and that changes between those prices sometimes. This year they are £6 but they might change the design again and the price might go up again.
5 Dooyoo Stars.
I love slippers and have had loads of pairs over the years, seeing these for a fiver I bought some to match my dressing gown.
The slippers are from Asda and are available in sizes small, medium and large, although I have size 4 feet I always opt for medium as I hate tight slippers. The medium in these are okay but abit too big for my feet, I could probably have done with a small.
The slippers are pink with grey leopard print and are made of a soft velour material, slightly fluffier on the inside than the out. These are mule style so are easy to slip on and off. The bottoms are padded with what I presume is foam making them really warm and comfy to wear. The sole is rubber which makes them great for nipping outside in.
There are no washing instructions but I pop them in the washing machine then the dryer and they come out nice, this helps plump them back up abit too as wearing them tends to flatten them down.
Longevity is good, I've had them for months and upto now they're in great condition, obviously the padding looses it's bounce after a while but on the whole they're okay- no stitching has come undone.
I would recommend these slippers.
When I go to my friends house I have a pair of slippers there that she bought me and these are them. She got me these from Asda as a little gift some time ago and they cost her £5.00 at the time and they can still be bought at that price either in store or from Asda.com
So these simply come in sizes Small, Medium and Large and I am a medium in these which then to my reckoning puts the sizes of these as a small will fit 3-4, a medium 5-6 and a largea size 6-7, though do try them on before buying them as I say the medium fits me with room to spare and I am a size 5 but I'm only guessing here.
I have no idea what these are made from I am not told that but they are soft velour feel and look.
Style wise these are nice enough. They look plush and feel it and design wise they are a soft pink colour all over, softer on the inner part of the slipper for warmth and rather fluffy and and the outside o the slipper is open backed, covered toed and with a grey and darker pink colour all over them to give an animal print effect.
I'm not sure if they are machine washable, again no advice is given on my slippers however my friend has chucked these in with her washing and left them to dry naturally for me and they have been perectly fine.
Usually I don't get on with open backed slippers as I find the backs go ridged making them uncomfortable for me to stand and walk in however these have thick cushioned feeling soles to them and I don't have any problems apart from the backs of my feet getting cold and they do have rubber soles to them too to help give grip when on the floor which is very helpful!
These do come up pretty large and I have skinny, scraggy feet so sizing wise these are not the best slippers I own however they do me whilst I'm at my mates and think that they were a very nice thought!
Only available from Asda.
