“ Brand: Asda „
I bought one of these fleeces a few weeks ago in black size 12-14. I can get cold very easily sat at home and I didn't want to spend a fortune on something just to be lounging in around the house.
Firstly at £6 it is definitely a bargain as well as it coming in many different colours.
Since buying it, it has only been washed a few times, however, it has washed fine. There has been no bobbling (so far), no loss in shape and feels just like new every time it is put on. One criticism I do have (although this is entirely personal) is that I do have a cat (3 actually) and one cat in particular manages to get her hairs all over it. She does malt quite a bit, so in general has a tendency to get her hairs onto things and this fleece definitely does catch them. Like I said this is from personal experience but as I just wear mine indoors for lounging in this doesn't bother me. People who are wanting this item for wearing out, may need to be aware that if you have pets it might cling to the fleece easily, but then again they may not.
All in all this is a great, reasonably price wardrobe essential for me and wouldn't be without it. The pocket is also useful for carrying my mobile around with me for example. I'm considering buying this in other colours and keeping some nice so that I can wear it when going out. It isn't as thick as some fleeces, therefore it is very handy when it comes to layering as things can easily be worn underneath and over it. Would definitely recommend.
Suffering with M.E and general bad health I really do tend to suffer more than most with the cold. I get cold right through to my bones which hurts and more often than not I get purple coloured skin! My circulation is fine enough really according to my Doctor but I can even be cold on a hot day and wrapped up!
Due to this reason I've had to buy myself a load of new bed wear, bedding and a new electric blanket recently and I absoloutely adore pyjamas. I spotted this 'mix and match' top in Asda and after a good feel of it opted to buy it as usually I find flecce so comfy and warm to wear in bed and I also thought that yes I would wear it to bed but when really cold it would look smart enough for day time use, for toddling around my flat in and the likes.
This comes in just the one colour option and that is a very light cream shade and it is made from 100% Polyester which gives it that fleece look and feel and it comes in sizes 8-10, 12-14, 16-18 and 20-22 and its fully machine washable and tumble dry safe. Like most of the Asda nightwear I have recently bought which is between sizes when bought the size 12-14 (I am about a size 12 at the moment) this is quite big on me but with an item like this I'm glad of plenty of give.
Style wise this is lovely to look at. Its a long length to just above my bum and has a high collar which can be tightened and secured by an integrated tie which is long. The sleeves are a nice long length and quite wide and there is a kangaroo pocket to the front of it to pop your hands into which is great for that but not putting things into because as its a large and open ended pouch pocket things fall out of it (just ask my mobile phone lol).
This has no hard edges to it and is a very soft top indeed. I wash and wear this often and its stayed in shape and not shrunk, bobbled or lost any of its softness and all in all this is a great, stylish top perfect for me day and night and at the moment I have been living in it!
Costing only £8.00 this is fabulous quality and really does offer a lot of cosy warmth and once again Asda gets top marks for this it really is a brilliant buy this one!
