“ Brand: Asda / Type: Jumper / Clothing Class: Casual Wear „
This is a basic V neck long sleeved jumper that i purchased from Asda sometime during february due to the cold weather.
I bought this as it was simple, versatile and ideal for everyday use. It's true to size and i find mine to be very well fitting and flattering and as it's black it will go with anything; jeans, shorts, skirts etc.
The jumper is lightweight but has a slight thickness to it and is soft touch (100% acrylic) and unlike most other jumpers that are soft touch it doesn't make me feel slobby or like i'm wearing a pyjama top; it's not too soft but is considerably cosier than an average jumper.
The sleeves are just right and not too long/short, i usually struggle with cheap jumpers having overly long sleeves but these are fine. The V neck adds a feminine touch to the jumper and isn't too low. The seam at the bottom is slightly ribbed adding a bit of character to the jumper however it's very run of the mill and quite frankly nothing special.
At £6 it's not remarkably cheap (Primark charge £1.50 for similar tops), but it is considerably good quality and has lasted me a good few months and is still going strong; no problems with shrinking, fraying, fading etc and as it's fine to be put in the washing machine and tumble dryer, i've had no trouble in washing it.
One downside is it does seem to pick up animal hair easily.
This jumper is still available both instore online in sizes 8-24. I'm a size 8 and find the size 8 to be figure hugging so will next time get a 10 if i get another one for a slightly looser fit. Black is the only available colour in this particular style.
Overall i love mine and wear it all the time. It's great for layering with vests and is smart enough to wear for uni and work; i'd reccomend it to any one who wants a soft cosey jumper that looks nice on.
When it comes to jumpers they are something in this cold snap that I tend to live in at the moment. Becuase I wear them almost daily for now I like a big stack of jumpers at my disposal to choose from and this jumper only costing £6.00, being described as soft touch and looking smart was right up my street as I like plain looking jumpers so I can dress them up or down depending on how I want to look.
This only comes in black and that is a dark, dark black and made from acrylic, it is soft in appearance and soft to the touch. It has a long body aqnd is reasonably loose fitting, slightly ribbed to the botton with a not too revealing v neck and smooth everywhere else. The sleeves are long enough and can be turned up if too long on you and the seams are double stitched in most places so the jumper won't simply fall apart on you.
This comes in sizes 8-24 and like I said previously I have only ever seen this particular jumper stocked in black. It is fully machine washable and suitable for tumble drying and ironing and I wash mine regulary and have had absolutely no problems at all with it i.e no fading or anything like that so once again this is a very easy to care for item from Asda thankfully.
This has a neatly knitted, unfluffy appearance, it is lightweight and warm and I don't find it to snag easily although it is a knitted item which is nice so the jumper stays in good condition for ages. The v isn't too revealing but you could pop a nice top under it if desired and layer up a bit and all in although this is a very plain looking jumper it is a soft and warming one!
Only available in Asda stores.
