      Lovely socks

My younger sister bought me these slippers for Christmas, I knew they were from Asda as they had a George tag on them although I don't how much they cost but generally they are the region for £4-£6.

The socks didn't really have packaging as such just simply a cardboard wrapper over the top of the socks with a black hanging hook and the wrapper simply gives you the size which is 4-8, the make which is George and the washing instructions which state they are machine washable and safe to put in the tumble drier.

The socks are mainly pink in colour but they have a black bit at the toe and a black bit at the top around the lower leg, there is a really cute picture of Tatty Teddy asleep wrapped in a little white blanket and his feet hanging out of the end. The socks also have some little white and black hearts on them and then a cute little black bow on the top however one of my bows has fallen off which is a shame as although I do wear them quite alot I have only had them a couple of months.

The socks have white rubbery stars on the bottom of the sock to give them the grip of slippers but still keep them as a sock, due to the rubbery bits on the underneath I personally don't put them in the drier.

The socks are really comfortable, I am a size 8 and they fit really well without feeling that they are being overstretched. I have worn and washed these socks plenty of times over the last couple of months and the colours haven't ran at all and the socks haven't shrunk. The socks wash well and have no bobbles or real signs of wearing out and they dry really quickly so can easily be worn, washed and then worn again the next day.

I love Tatty Teddy and I think these are very cute, recommended from me.

A lovely pair of slipper socks that don't cost a packet!

I have a mate who is really thoughtful. I suffer with really terribly cold feet so when she was in our local Asda store she picked me a pair up as she knows I like Tatty Teddy stuff and I was rather pleased with them!

        The Socks:

They comes in one size which is 4-8, I'm a size 5 and these fit me lovely but they are stretchy so can accomodate a bigger foot than mine with ease.

They are made from 75% cotton, 24% nylon and 1% lycra and that means that they are machine washable and tumble dry safe, I wash and wear mine often and have had no colour fade, bobbling, shrinkage or anything else adverse at all.

They are a bright pink in colour, black coloured to the toes, a black rim to the top of the hole of the sock and with a lovely picture of a tatty teddy in a white blanket snoozing with balck and white stars above its head and under the picture shown sort of scribbled on is 'Dreams are made of this' written on. The part that turns them into slipper socks is the white rubbery stars on the base of each sock that gives grip which is perfect for me as my flat has laminate floors and they are finished off nicely with a black bow which is slightly sparkly to the back of each sock giving them a little hint of glamour.

I think these are lovely and I'm really pleased with my pair. They are warm and lightweight on and none scratchy or wooly. They wash up great, dry quick naturally and look really nice on. The grip parts do wear down a bit after a while and they arnt major grippers but do give a bit and they are not uncomfortable because of the grips and I can wear these to bed if I want to.

At only £3.00 a pair I think that not only are they practical but are lovely little stocking filler gift and so on and I give the thumbs up to these for any girly girl or woman out there!

        Available from Asda stores.
