      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Well made, shame about the colour fading from day one

My boyfriend hates shopping. As a result of this he is always needing new clothes and underwear and never has the time (according to him) to go shopping. When he does go he buys lots of stuff then thats it for months!

We have a long distance relationship but he comes and stays with me as often as possible. Doing his washing and ironing I now know all of his measurements and where he tends to shop and I know not only cos I have seen him buy a pack of these recently in Asda but because I have seen them in them and washed him and the majority of his boxers are these ones from Asda. Sick of seeing the sight of his faded out boxers on my bedroom floor I decided to take matters into my own hands (pardon the pun!) and go out and buy a couple of packs of these in the hope he would ditch some right old one's (which didn't happen much to my disgust as he won't part with anything lol!).

      The Packaging:

The 3 pairs of boxer shorts are in store hanging up so have a little black hook to the top of them and they have a cream cardboard backing to them and a front section that shows me a man wearing the shorts and I am told that they are George Loose Fit Boxers '100% cotton Jersey for comfort' and the price is stated (which is £5.00) but you that bit of information is on a perforated bit of card so if you want to give these to someone as a gift you can remove that with ease. On the back of the card were are again told who they are by and what they are and a guide to sizes is given and that is it apart from the size being stated on the front beneath the hook and colour coded and these are available in small, medium, large and extra large and in either the black colour or a multi coloured pack.

      The Boxer Shorts:

The boxers I chose were the black one's. They are reasonably soft and a real dark, jet black colour (when first purchased). Made from Jersey these are suitable for washing on a 40C wash, suitable for tumble drying and you can iron them (according to the care label in each pair of boxers). They have a fly hole that is quite a large slit with a small button there that is easy to open and close and these are rather baggy boxers meant for a comfy fit.

The top of them is a rather thick elasticated band so they don't fall down and it looks tight to me but my boyfriend says they really are not and are really comfortable to wear.

Through washing though I have found them to fade from first wash. I have also found them to get baggier on him over time too but again he likes that I just think though that faded boxers look so old!

For £5.00 for 3 pairs of boxers I think that is a reasonable price to pay and me and the boyfriend are at odds over these. He likes the fit of them, I feel like throwing them out whilst he's not looking because they look tatty due to fading and sagging so badly! As long as he's happy though eh girls?!

      Only available in Asda stores.
