      A Hideous Design by ASOS

I am a big fan of Playsuits, I find most of them really cute and I like the fact that they are a bit different. This ASOS Playsuit first caught my eye in mid 2010 when I spotted it on their website. I thought it looked stunning and it looked really elegant and stylish. But it was £75 which is a bit too pricey for my liking, so I just saved it in my Wish List in case a very special occasion ever came up where I could justify spending £75 on a playsuit! My 21st eventually came up and I looked through several online clothing stores to find something perfect. When I came to look at ASOS I remembered this playsuit and after searching for it I discover it had been reduced from the £75 down to £20! I was thrilled and bought it straight away, I excitedly waited its arrival and I couldn't wait to try it on. Finally, the postman arrived with my much anticipated ASOS parcel which I tore open within minutes of its arrival! First of all, after just glancing at the item in its packaging I thought they had sent me the wrong item because the garment I was looking down on appeared to be a sickly skin tone coloured beige so I thought "Where's my crisp White playsuit I've been waiting for?!" On further opening the garment out of its packaging I was horrified to find that this was in fact the "beautiful" playsuit I'd been waiting for. Far from the crisp white colour I'd been expecting, the main part of the playsuit was a creamy colour and the mesh sections of the playsuit were the sickly beige skin tone, in fact it was almost orange rather than beige. The ruffles on the shoulders were also the horrible orangey colour too... I was so disappointed but I thought I'd try it on anyway just to see if it made any difference. But after trying it on, my view on it was even worse as the shape and cut was unflattering and as expected the orange/beige colour made me look ill. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, it certainly looked nothing like the photo on the ASOS website. Even the material of the playsuit felt cheap. Of course I returned it to ASOS for a refund, but I still lost out on the £4.95 delivery I'd paid for it. I can't belive some unfortunate people will have actually paid £75 for this hideous thing! It's not very often that I'm unimpressed with ASOS, but this time I was! It is still on the site for £20 for anyone who wants to have a look. Hand Wash Only
