      I love this shirt!

Like most girls I love clothes, and I just can't seem to stop myself from placing regular orders with online super-retailer www.ASOS.com. I came across this adorable little top in the sales where it was reduced from the RRP of £25.00 to just £12.50.

Product description: "Rabbit print shirt by ASOS Collection. Featuring an all over rabbit print, a classic point collar, sleeveless styling, button fastening through the front and an elasticated hem."

Not only do I love fashion but I also love my pets and am a proud bunny mama. I like to wear clothes with printed animal designs as it reflects a part of my personality. This shirt has a bright yellow background colour, with a grey rabbit pattern all over. The rabbits are quite small but very detailed with a photographic quality to the image. It is a fun and playful piece with neat detailing. The shirt has a sleeveless design and is buttoned all the way up the front with a smart little collar, so you can wear it completely done up to the neck for a prim and proper look, or have a few buttons open for a more casual feel. The bottom edge of the hem is elasticated and does not have any fastening, so you have to slip the shirt on over your head to put it on. This is a tad annoying as I think I could have had more styling options if it opened properly at the front, but it helps to give an interesting shape to the garment, and as it has a cropped length the elasticated section helps to keep it in place.

This little top has become an instant favourite for my summer wardrobe, and it works really well when paired with a simple jeans and a camisole underneath. If I'm feeling brave I would go for a bit of a retro look and wear this cropped shirt with a pair of dark denim flared jeans - although it's worth bearing in mind I do live near the beach so I (hopefully) don't look like a complete loony walking round in a cropped top with my midriff out during the day! I also like to wear it to work and usually pair it with a high waisted skirt to get the full effect of its cropped length without exposing any bare flesh in the office. It's very comfortable to wear and the material feels nice and cool against the skin which is great for during the hot and humid summer spells.

The shirt is 100% polyester which makes it easy to care for and I throw it in the washing machine on my usual 30 degree cycle. It has an added bonus in that it doesn't seem to retain any creases after being hung out to dry on the line and so as soon as it's washed and dry it's ready to wear again. This is a relief as I would have no idea of how to get it laid out flat to iron, as the elasticated hem tucks in the bottom edge and would make it very difficult to get an iron over it properly without creating creases in the process!

Overall I think this is a gorgeous top and I absolutely adore the rabbit print. I would say it's best suited to younger women, or those who can rock a quirky preppy look. I feel like this was a real bargain and can happily recommend it. Wearing this top always puts a smile on my face and it gets a lot of attention from people as the design is so eye-catching. A winner if you like to wear conversation-starting pieces and have a bit of fun with your fashion.
