      An okay T shirt

A couple of years ago, when the hipster trend kicked in, Wasted Youth was a popular slogan on t-shirts and vests. Wasted Youth doesn't have a particular meaning but I find it to be quite an edgy quote which is why when I saw this on the ASOS website, I decided to purchase it. I bought this about 2 weeks ago now and have worn it a few times since. It's going to be one of my summer staples due to how lightweight and comfy it is, and ofcourse it's also incredibly in season - most slogan print t shirts are at the minute.

I paid £18 for this T shirt and got free delivery. The T shirt is currently on sale and is priced at £14. £18 for a T shirt may sound expensive however when you compare it to other brands (eg Topshop) it's a bargain - Topshop would probably charge £25-£30 for something like this. The T shirt is part of the ASOS collection which is designed by a london based design team who 'make and break' the fashion rules with their clothing, according to the ASOS website.

The design of the T shirt is very simple, so it's versatile. It's a casual T shirt and wouldn't look right worn to a posh meal out but looks fine with jeans or shorts and it could also be worn with leggings etc. The T shirt has short, quite high up sleeves which are tight - to the point of being almost uncomfortable. The neck is a little high and is scooped and the length is just right - it comes just below my bum. I'm trying to wear longer tops at the minute to cover up my bum and upper thighs, as that's where all my excess baby weight is!

The top is a nice cream colour and has 'Wasted Youth' on the front in faded grey writing. The slogan takes up 90% of the space on the front of the T shirt but it isn't too in your face due to the subtle colour. The T shirt is made of 100% cotton and is soft and smooth to the touch with an almost silky feel. It's very thin so if wearing a black bra underneath, it's slightly visible which is the only downside but this can be fixed by simply wearing a white bra.

Sizes available are 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18. The t shirt is well fitting but is still comfy and relaxed, it looks nice and casual and is easy to just stick on with a pair of jeans. It's decent value and can be washed in the washing machine. I would overall reccomend this top as it's really in-season, looks nice and is comfy. The only minor niggles I have with it is the high, tight sleeves and I also think it's a little too thin and lightweight.
