      Good quality top

This is really on trend for this season's messy indie look. It has an 'effy' look to it (Skins fans will know what i mean!) and is on the slightly slouchy oversized side - it's not a figure hugging top. It's basically an almost sleeveless top with the short sleeves in a rolled-up style and come just below the shoulders - really hard to explain but they add a unique look to the whole thing.

The top has pocket detailing on the front of the top on its left hand side, which isn't a real pocket and i'd prefer the top without it but i think it adds character to the top so it doesn't look silly. The scoop neck isn't too deep and adds a more feminine look to the whole thing. The top has seam detailing on the scoop neck and on the bottom of the top. I bought it as i thought it was unusual and would be nice for summer, and i've already worn it a few times and have found the material to be good quality, and as it's a hundred percent cotton it's comfy and soft.

The feature on the website where you can watch the model walking down a short catwalk wearing the item of clothing really helped me decide i wanted it as she looked great.

The top was priced originally at £16, but i got mine in the sale for £12. I feel this was a good price because the top's comfy and versatile. It goes with jeans, shorts, etc. I usually wear mine with jeans as personally i find it's not quite long enough to cover my bum properly in leggings!

The top has a stonewashed faded look to it which i love and the colours available are deep lilac, blue, red and black. Sizing starts at a 6 and goes upto an 18. Asos only have size 6's in stock on the website now, but i'm sure more will be in stock soon.

Overall reccomended. Casual top for everyday wear with a hint of indie to it. Perfect with any outfit - can be layered with cardi's, waistcoats etc or simply slung on with a pair of shorts - it's one of my main wardrobe staples!

        not the best top

I love buying clothes from ASOS because they have free delivery, and they always seem to have good quality clothing which has never fallen apart or given me any problems. They always seem to have a sale on so I tend to browse through that quite a lot because they have quite a good variety. When I bought this top it was free next day delivery so its worth waiting for deals like this as they have them quite often.

I bought the top because it looked really good on the model and it seemed like a good colour that could go with everything, however it didn't really seem quite the same when it arrived. The colour wasn't the same as in the picture it looked a lot more faded and I decided that I actually didn't like the 'washed' look in reality, it just doesn't make you look good as it really washes you out. However I got it in blue, you can also get it in red so it might be a bit better in this colour. Although the sleeves don't look that drastic in the picture when it arrives they are a bit of an issue because they are quite big so it makes cardis look quite weird. Its also not really long enough to wear with leggings.

It cost me £7 in the sale reduced from £16, it is now back in the sale but for £12. I suppose its an okay price for a top these days but it really isn't to my taste and I had too many issues with it so I personally wouldn't recommend it.
