      Asos Washed Seamed Skinny Trousers

The main reason i bought these trousers were because they were (and still currently are) on sale, reduced from £28 to £8.

In my opinion at £8 these were a brilliant buy but i certianly wouldn't of paid full price for them. They're very simple and are pretty much chinos, the seam detailing gives them a more denim look (although it's very slight), which avoids them from looking like leggings. The trousers are slightly high waisted (on me, anyway) and have a zip and button. The waist is quite stretchy aswell as the trousers overall due to the material. They're an odd fit and seem tight on me around my waist yet baggy around my knees and ankles (they're slightly long on me too, 5'3), but i'm guessing this is just the style of them and not a reflection of my body shape. They're not the most flattering trousers however are very eyecatching due to the burgundy red colour.

They are 98 percent cotton and 2 percent elastane which allows them to be soft and sturdy yet have a reasonable amount of stretchiness. They have 2 pockets with stud detailing on the bottom corners and the trousers can be worn with a belt to make them look slightly more feminine. I don't wear these much - infact i've only worn them once and i felt like i was wearing a pair of trackies due to the odd fit and i just didn't feel comfortable in them. They also have a slight nylon feel to them which i hate. The colour doesn't help either, however if you're after some cheap chinos then these are just as good. If you want them not to be as baggy simply don't buy them. Don't buy the smaller size as they are true to size (pretty tight!) around the waist and hips but baggy around the bum, ankles and legs which is the style but i really don't like it. Sizes available are 8-18.

When it comes to matching these with an outfit i'd say they look best with a nice vest, or a jumper. They match well with vintage, chabby chic type tops (cable knits, floral prints), however because they are burgundy red can turn quickly into a fashion disaster if matched with the wrong top!

I personally do not like them, and while they were a bargain at £8 i doubt i will be getting much wear out of them. They're the type of trousers if i saw my boyfriend wearing i'd think "wow, he looks hot!", but on me it just looks yucky. I'm sure alot of girls will look gorgeous in these, but they made me feel frumpy and uncomfortable.
